HUGE NEWS if true.......that of Mo becoming a better shooter.......AND.......Plumlee developing a mid-range shot.

If true, both would be huge for this teams growth!!

I'm confident that Plumlee's jumper is money now. The fact that he improved his foul shooting *during* the season is a sign that he's willing to learn and improve.

Anyone shocked about the pain Dame was playing through in the playoffs with his plantar fasciitis? He was a warrior during the playoffs and I don't remember anything ever being said about it.

I just hope all our returning guys make the scouting reports useless this season and nobody will see it coming..element of surprise..I think Mo is the biggest leap and gets my vote because I'm really not looking for Plumlee to shoot a lot of jumpers game to game anyway but if Mo hits 3s at a high clip..that's a game changer

Plumlee will only become a good mid-range shooter if he gets rid or lessens the hitch in his jump shot.

The set point is fine, right in front of his head, but from there it's bad. He brings his elbow up, but fails to extend his forearm at the same time. It's two motions, where he brings his elbow up, then flings his wrist and forearm forward.

All he needs to do is extend his forearm forward while his elbow raises, and he'd be a solid shooter. He can pass, and usually bigs that can pass have good touch and feel for the basketball. I believe Plumlee has this, and the only thing getting in his way has been his dreadful shooting form.

A consistent jumper from Plums would be good. Making his free throws would be even better.

Sorry but you don't become a good shooter in 4 months FAMS! Takes years and years......

I didn't read anyone saying he would be or become a good or great shooter, but just develop a jump shot from top of the key.

To me these are big differences. a good shooter can shoot form anywhere and I don't think anyone is expecting Plums to do that... or even WANTING him to do that.

I completely disagree with this because he proves you wrong with his FT's from last year alone. In one season he made a huge jump.

Doesn't camp open today?
I haven't seen any media reports about how the players are actually looking.

Based on the reports and rumors and comments , I don't see how we aren't a contender now.

I don't want to stir people up about race, but didn't it seem like everyone was asked about Meyers?
