I think we're gonna get the #3 pick.
Something tells me this would actually be perfect and lucky to not feel like we have to take Nerlens

What if we lose and Lillard starts cracking heads?

(c) he's good at the things Lillard is weak on, and
@DraftExpress: The last 10 years, the team who won the #1 overall pick was previously slated to draft: 4th, 8th, 5th, 3rd, 9th, 6th, 5th, 6th, 1st and 2nd
I wouldn't mind. It seems Oladipo may be this year's Brandon Roy/Damian Lillard. I'd be happy with the Big O.Something tells me this would actually be perfect and lucky to not feel like we have to take Nerlens
So no. 10 is due to come up then.@DraftExpress: The last 10 years, the team who won the #1 overall pick was previously slated to draft: 4th, 8th, 5th, 3rd, 9th, 6th, 5th, 6th, 1st and 2nd

If we're stuck at #10 or even 11, how would people feel about Dennis Schröder? I imagine people complaining about using a lottery pick on a player at Lillard's position, but
(a) he might well be BPA, and
(b) the trend in the NBA seems to be to have two PGs on the court a lot, and
(c) he's good at the things Lillard is weak on, and
(d) If we were a good team, we would have players of that talent coming off the bench. After all, people are talking about going after Jarrett Jack, and he'd cost a lot more than a rookie.

We probably won't jump up to top 3, but if we do I hope we don't get the first pick. I don't want to be the team forced to thinking we have to pick Noel. I am fine with the second or third pick in the draft this year since no one is a slam dunk pick in this draft. Oladipo would be who I want if we jump and that is based merely on his comments that he would genuinely like to play in and for Portland.
Anybody know anything about the black guy with the Nazi last name?

Here are the odds for the places POR can potentially select:
1st pick: 1.1%
2nd: 1.3%
3rd: 1.6%
10th: 87%
11th: 8.9%
12th: 0.2%
13th: close to 1 in a million--so you're saying there's a chance
No other slot is possible from the lottery.
So we have twice as big of a chance to move back one spot then we have of moving up. That would suck.
So we have a better chance to get the #11 pick than #1,2 or 3!
More than double the chance, actually.
Up (+4)
Down (-3)
Down (-2)
Up (+6)
Down (-3)
Down (-1)
Up (+1)
Down (-5)
Up (+1)
Hmmm...based on that "pattern" (no successive "ups"), the winner of the #1 pick will not be ORL or CHA.

Everyone's a numbers geek today!
Did we win yet?

Proof that the lottery is fixed:

Remember how back in the day we never were in the lottery? Weren't we one of the last teams to be in the lottery?
Are you serious or joking? There was nothing any of those articles that gave any "proof". Also, how does it explain us getting #1 in 07?
I agree they should do it in the open but suggesting it's fixed is speculation at best. At worst it's a conspiracy theory.
