I was going nuts up in 311 - surely the coaching staff TOLD them to hold the ball coming out of the timeout, right? Right?!
 
I would be so pissed if we had lost Batum to Minnie. I love his complete game. He made that last block look so easy the Denver announcers thought it went off the glass. Is he worth 11 million? I don't give a fuck at this point. I just know I an glad we have him.
 
Oh btw. JJ Hickson is a fuckin monster. He needs to be in conversation for Player of the week in the west.

Agreed. He was already my favorite player, but I'm kinda shocked at just how much better he is this year. I knew he'd be better, but the totality of his game is amazing.
And Hickson - with each game I'm more and more ready for HIM to be our PF for the next 5+ seasons. Trade LMA for a legit C, a back-up SG/PG, and a prospect and let's go!

He played his hard. He look exhausted late in the 4th, but he kept battling. He is not used to playing 34 minutes.
Babbitt battled as well. He had 8 boards to go with some big 3's.
 
Babbitt played great; if he can give you 10 points and 5 rebounds off the bench, it's a good night. 14 and 8? Phenomenal. Loved the LUUUUKE! cheers at the end when he came out.

Maybe a Wilt team, but yeah, that was CRAZY... It was like two extreme philosophies at work, just chugging away at their scouting reports. Portland's interior defense sucks? Take everything into the paint. Denver's perimeter D sucks? Make a bunch of three pointers.

Who are these mythical players you want for him?

Dwight Howard, Blake, and Sacre?
Tyson, Kidd, and James White?

Those are doubtful.

Noah, Nate, and some guy? Maybe.
Varejao, and who? That would make Cle a contender next year.

There are only a few legit Cs in the league and JJ is playing nearly as well as those guys.

I think the point is that JJ would improve playing PF with a big center next to him. Maybe a Marc Gasol?
 
Obviously Hickson isn't as dynamic as Aldridge, but I think he compliments Lillard well. He's only 24, and he'll probably be cheaper. :dunno:

I'd shop Aldridge and just see what you can get. Not saying trade him, but it would be interesting to see what kinds of offers would be put on the table.

I do too. JJ needs to be under the basket. LMA does not. You pair him with a Demarcus Cousins or a Dwight Howard and he will not excel as much.

In what way? Neither is an ideal defensive player. Hickson may have more rebounding chops versus Aldridge's smoother offensive game, but the bottom line is that both of them are power forwards.

Well because Aldridge is more a shooting pf, while Hickson is starting to prove he can bang down low. Also the centers are usually assigned guarding Aldridge, and there aren't many centers in the league that demand doubles and can score down low on their own.
