Summer league thread

Trail Blazers ‏@pdxtrailblazers
You heard it first on #RipCityUpdate, 2011 2nd Round Pick, Jon Diebler will be joining the Blazers' Summer League team (via @NdotSmitty)

Re: Summer league thread

Can't reply until this becomes the "official" summer league thread

Re: Summer league thread

Can we get a "The Official" added to the title?

Otherwise, give it a week, and HCP will try to create a new thread, just so he can have "The Official" on there.

Just sayin'.

I think Jon Diebler is a good addition for summer league. He has just as much of a chance of making the roster and the #40 and 41 pick.

You guys are just encouraging him now..... next it will be the OFFICIAL HCP TAKES A DUMP THREAD!!!11!!!1

Really hope Diebler plays well and makes the roster next year.. can always use a shooter off the bench

I dont care about Summer League until Freeland and Claver are in it.

WHat about these 2 lottery picks we are about to land? Can't wait to watch our young guys in Vegas. I bet we broadcast the games now.

It really pisses me off that you guys are speculating about this. This is the new GM's job. You're all a bunch of Allens and Koldes. The GM should be the dictator. No more meddling from his bosses.

How did you know I am Bert Kolde?? Shit..... my cover is blown.

Why are any Allen haters meddling on my board? We have a GM now.

I was working on tricking my wife into going on a (summer league) Las Vegas trip for my daughter's birthday. But then she mentioned the 200 degree July heat. "It's a dry heat" didn't convince her. Still working on it.

Yeah I can see it now: "It's a dry heat, baby! It's not as bad as someplace humid, like Chicago or the East Coast."

Her: "You're right - it is a dry heat. So is the Oven. Try that for a day or two, then we'll talk."

The summer league games aren't played outside FAMS!

Which is why I don't care about the Las Vegas inferno. But she wouldn't give two shits about the games, doesn't gamble, wants to go to the Grand Canyon overlook thingy on the reservation, wants to walk around up and down the boulevard, etc.

Where are the games being played? Are they at UNLV's campus? I want to make sure I get a room close to the action!

Yeah they play at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavillion. I went the past three years (excluding last year, of course.) There's a Best Western right down the street and the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is really close as well.
