Man, I admire your willingness to stick to your guns, but you really are expecting them to fall off a cliff the rest of the season. 15-23 (.395) so far means that they have to go 8-36 (.182) the rest of the way for your prediction to come true. Don't see that happening, FAMS.

Nice! Now see? Being fair is not that hard is it? So us "Experts" can admit we might have overestimated the roster. No need to toss negativity around it.

My initial pre-season guess was for 35 wins. That would take going 20-24 (.454) the rest of the way, and I don't really see that happening. I think it will be closer to 30.

This is going to be a rough stretch. Very brutal scheduling. I think we could get wins against Denver at home and Sac. Historically we haven't done well in Denver, so that's probably a loss. We might be able to get one against New Orleans and Sac. I'm going to say 3/10 because I think we might steal a win against one of the contenders, whether it's Memphis, LAC, GS, or OKC. So our record at this point would be 14-26.

My original prediction was 32, but then I got high on all the estrogen early in this thread, and went with 36. Meh. Still think 32-36. Probably closer to 32. We'll win fewer than that if we go into tank mode, or "developmental" mode. Whatever: We aren't a playoff team, that seems obvious.

Still looks like 32. (Unless we actively aim lower.)

For the good of the future, I'd prefer HCP's prediction.

We'll be the favorite in 6 of our next 8 games, with the other 2 being very winnable (@ Washington, vs Atlanta). I expect us to go 6-2, and end up at 24-26.

After that, I think we can play .500 ball and end up at 40-42.

This is a good stretch for us. I like our chances in almost all of these games. I think wins against UTH, BKN, PHI, LAL, MIN, and CHA are all possible. I'm going to go with 6/10 but it could easily be 8/10. I'll put our record at 20-30.

So I predicted wins against Utah, Brooklyn, Philly, LAL, Minnesota, and Charlotte. So far we've got the wins against Utah, Brooklyn, and we won today in Washington. I thought we'd be 20-30 after this stretch (up to the Milwaukee game) and we're already at 19-25, so there's a good chance we'll be better than that, BUT I did say we could do as well as 8 wins out of these 10 games. We might even be able to run the table. I could see wins against all the remaining six games out of this ten.
