Argentina is really playing like they deserve this, they have been since knockout stage. What a storyline, losing their first match and the questions already began to arise. Lionel Messi is 40 minutes from winning his World Cup and solidifying his legendary status amongst the all time great footballers.

Stayed over. Such a short flight, I don't think they minded having a travel day. Heading out this afternoon. Luckily we will be able to finish this match before taking off.

Did you see that Saudi fan who was calling out Messi after the first game now is a huge Argentina fan?
 
If this holds, the only team to beat Argentina is Saudi Arabia, weird huh.
 
My best soccer memory was in Buenos Aires. While working a fight down there, the whole crew got to go to a River Plate vs Boca game.... one of the most memorable sports memories I have! An unbelievable experience!

So somebody explain to me how the regular time with time added ended at 98 minutes and 15 more is 105?
Sounds like they went back and started the clock at 90?
So this game goes to PKs at 120 with added time again?

Look at how intense the fans are! Absolutely nobody looking at a phone. They are riveted to this game!

edit- there are people taking pictures with their phones but they aren’t scrolling.

argentina absolutely dominated the game for 80 minutes and deserved to win the game, but then blackout happened and france took advantage of it

but after that, maybe france was somewhat better team and this is definitely the best way to end the game
