We still are 4th in one of the toughest years of this conference.

This LA guy is kind of good.

We're 44-22. That's kinda pretty.

LA is a freaking monster. I remember years back when he was giving us 18/8 saying, "If he can give us 20 and 10, he'd be one of the best Blazers of all time."

Well, 23.3 and 10.5 is fucking amazing. What a growth from a young kid to a Solid #1 Option.

We're something like 8-2 since Wes went down. Afflalo is filling in well. The bench is scoring better. All our bigs are back before the playoffs. Meyers is making huge strides as a player.

Aldridge is continuing to silence the haters.
Kaman is playing well off the bench again.
Batum is playing much better.
Paul Allen is rich af, so he can pay the refs to be consistent throughout the game..
Not just the first 44minutes of it.

Batum definitely has been. Tonight is the only game where I kinda saw him regress, but he's been consistent, so I can't complain.

Oh I forgot one thing.
Blazers are still going to make the playoffs and have a good chance at HCA in the first round.

Meyers Leonard is finally looking like a decent pick?

Definitely. His growth has been exceptional since we got Kaman. And if Kaman did nothing else, he's worth the money. But he's been decent for us too.

LaMarcus Aldridge.

I hope when it comes to resign him that he feels his supporting cast wants it as bad as he wants it. He's been very consistent all year.

12-3 against OKC/Dallas/NO/Houston/SA

We are on a 5 game winning streak against West Playoff Teams

Tied with Houston in loss column and we have the tiebreaker so we're still basically 3rd

Opportunity coming up to gain a game on Memphis in their house on Saturday

Afflalo has been a Wes Matthews clone

Blaze the Trail Cation!

Sorry.

There are still 16 games left. There are A LOT of things that can change between now and then and even if they dont ANYTHING can happen in the playoffs. Its a new season. We just need to be playing well at the right time. I would rather struggle a little now and be clicking at playoff time then be streaking now and fizzle out right before the playoffs.

Also...

Over the last three and a half weeks we are 8-3.

Our defense and rebounding have been good enough to keep us in games when we are shooting poorly. As a result, we've been in every game right to the end. We haven't lost a game by more than 8 points in a month and stole a couple close games against the Clippers and Rockets (outrebounded the Clippers 61 - 51 and the Rockets 60 - 40).

Over that same stretch, we've had five double digit victories, including a 16-point win over the Spurs and a 19-point win over the Mavs - our two most likely first round opponents.

We've also beaten the two teams (LAC and HOU) we are battling for the 3rd, 4th and 5th seeds.

Including the win over OKC, in the last three and a half weeks, we've beaten all the other Western Conference teams that are likely to be seeded 3 through 8.

We have either secured, or are in position to secure, the tie breakers over HOU, SAS, DAL, LAC and OKC

Which makes it that much more of a head scratcher of why we continue to lose to garbage teams.

Do you watch the league?? Everyone loses to Garbage teams. NY and PHI have combined for 30 wins. The Fakers have won 17.

The bottom feeders in the league have won 61 games.

Dwayne Wade, Goran Dragic and Luol Deng are pretty fuckin' far from garbage players. Their coach has a handful of championships..we have a different garbage category going on here.

MEM just lost to DET by 10 right after we beat them by 19 and SAS lost to the Knicks. Shit happens. The 72-win 1996 Bulls lost to the 21-win Raptors.

lol. If they beat the "teams we were supposed to beat" every time, every team in the west would have 60+ wins.
