Dwayne Wade, Goran Dragic and Luol Deng are pretty fuckin' far from garbage players. Their coach has a handful of championships..we have a different garbage category going on here.
Which makes it that much more of a head scratcher of why we continue to lose to garbage teams.

Woopidy dooo. That "garbage team" also beat The Wizards and Raptors just recently.
I didn't detect anything positive in your post...
Not sure if this is the best place to mention it, but I have a theory why we struggle against MIN (the only "garbage" team we "continually" lose to).
Our defense is designed to deny easy scoring at the rim and the 3-point line. This leaves us vulnerable to teams that shoot mid to long range 2-pointers at a high percentage. This is MIN and probably explains why Ricky Rubio usually has one of his two good shooting nights a year against us. If you go back and look at the individual shot charts for our last loss to MIN, the first thing you will notice is they only attempted seven 3-pointers (and made four of them). They aren't a good 3-point shooting team, and they know it. So, they rely much more on mid to long range 2-pointers than most other teams. Gary Neal and Kevin Marin just killed us on mid to long range 2-pointers in that game. Even Kevin Garnett did all his scoring on 15 - 19 ft jumpers in that game.
Basically, their offensive strength is a perfect match for our defensive vulnerability. Of course, that's by design. If we ever did meet MIN in a post season series, I'm sure Stotts would adjust our defensive game plan accordingly.
I do find it funny that we owned MIN during Kevin Love's time there. I believe at one point, we won like 21 of 22 games against the Wolves when Love played. That's because Love scores down low, or from 3-point range - the two specific areas our defense is targeted to stop (well, that and Love SUCKS). Now that Love is gone, MIN is a much tougher match up for us.

Players are good, team is garbage. Completely different.
Just because you have great players doesn't make you a great team.

Woopidy dooo.
Our "Elite" defensive team shouldn't have allowed the loss to happen.
My sociological experiment with this thread has yielded predictable results.![]()

It's an internet forum, we debate wherever. I honestly paid 0% attention to the thread title. I typically just click the unread posts, read and post.

That same "garbage" MIA team beat CLE by 14, with a healthy LeBron and Kyrie playing 35 minutes, just two nights before they beat us. Again, shit happens. MIA has won 6 of their lat 9 and is probably playing their best ball of the year right now.
