Lmao like I said, you would be saying "Houston is the better team", if we were down 2-3 and played like they did. Saying shit like "we can't hold leads". "Batum just doesn't have that killer instinct".

The refs already screwed Portland all through the second half of game 1, and at various other points in the series. It could be Houston's turn now. ;)

Tonight should be the busiest night of posting in the forum. There will be no way I can keep up with reading all of your wonderful posts and watching the game. The personal insults MUST STOP! The reffing has favored the Rockets in every game so far....if Portland wants to win, they'll have to over come it. I wish we had a fair competition, but I'm getting tired of watching these bouts where one team is handicapped by refs.

Earth to MM. It's not about FTA's. It's about altering the momentum of the game with untimely bad calls, quality not quantity.
 
I've seen this argument that seems to say that games are only officiated equally if both teams have the same number of fouls called and shoot the same number of free throws. That presumes, erroneously IMO, that all teams do everything at the same rate. If teams performed perfectly equally, there would be no sense in playing the games. They don't. Some teams foul more, turnover the ball less, shoot a better percentage, play worse defense, box out and rebound better.... All things are not equal, so why should foul calls be equal? I have never understood the argument.

So what has been the points in the paint so far this series? I am about to go night night from some awesome drugs that would make Mags jealous. Has either team shot more in the paint?

I'll jump on that bandwagon.

Blazers are lousy at working the refs. It works for some teams who work the refs proactively. They razz the refs even when they know they are wrong, because they know they'll get a freebee sooner or later.

The Blazers have historically done it reactively, which is seen as whining, does not work, and takes you out of the game.

Blazers have to ignore the calls, ignore the refs, and focus on the job at hand.

Us fans on the other hand, are free to be drunk and obnoxious about it. ;)
