Funny The PC Rose Festival Court

If they were mostly white girls would you still be questioning the merit of them being selected? Is the fairness and accuracy of this thing I've never even heard of a hot button issue to you?

If the court was 58% white and the rest were minorities, I would think, "statistically, that makes sense, because that's the percentage of white kids in Portland Public schools."

It would be interesting to see the number of white girls who went out for the court compared to the number of minorities, and then see what the actual odds were of this happening.

Maybe white girls think the Rose Festival is beneath them to apply? You know with their Coachella and shit like that.

There may have been a smart, white and American born girl who really needs that 3500 bucks more than one of these girls that were chosen "organically"

If my car keeps getting keyed everwhere I go it isn't the luck of the draw. It isn't organic, I've done or am doing something.

Are we getting to the point that every job or rose court festival position will have to be chosen without knowing any identifying things about someone's race? Is that the only way to make it fair?

Haven't Rose Festival girls always been kind of nerdy outcasts? Dunno I went to Jesuit we only had bros. Don't even know who from st Mary's academy was on the court

When I was in middle school, the junior princesses were pretty damn cute..... but they did away with that because they hurt too many feelings from not getting picked.

Our homecoming court my senior year in HS ended up being kinda funny. There was five guys on the court. it was me and 3 of my friends, and this drama/debate club kid.

4 white guys an my friend LaRon, some on here might call him a brutha. When they announced the court, we all new right away who would win. Grant was 1/2 black at the time. So all the black kids voted for my guy LaRon and we split the votes.

We were all happy for him. Had a real rough home life, he needed it. I gotta find a pic of The HCP in high school for you guys.

And who knew that this young man would go on to be one of the most prolific Instagrammers in the history of the internet... only rivaled by 13 year olds and middle aged women who like to post pictures of their cats.
This just made me laugh sir. I know you're just joking because my instagram game is straight fire.

When did you start going bald if you don't mind my asking?
Noticed it in a date when I was about 25 or 26. Crushed me for 6 months wore a hat. Accepted it and moved on. Started shaving the dome the next day.

I'm older than that and still have a full head of hair. I've been a little worried because my uncle and grandfather were completely bald, and my father doesn't have much left. I think I could accept buzz cutting it if that happens though.
