To be fair, this timeline in the court probably was decided well before Covid. Woj's tweet and ensuing mother shaming is unwarranted.

Melo was only on the rocks about potentially sitting out too, but he's fairly replaceable with Zach. That would actually solve a potential minutes crunch actually if Zach took over.

Ariza will be tougher to replace.

If they play LA in round one, they should sign a recent Laker and just get insight from him. Like Troy Daniels.

I understand and agree with Ariza's decision, though I am disappointed.

I think we had a chance to surprise some people with our team and the return of Nurk and Colllins. I still think we could, but Ariza was a big part of that, so it's definitely a blow to the team. He brought a few things to the team that we don't otherwise have.

All that being said..... the Champion of the 19-20 season would have an asterisk on their accomplishment, from my perspective, anyway (unless Portland won it all, then it's legit).

Coulda just said personal reasons, but alright. Guess they didn't want everyone to speculate.

That blows for us. We needed the guy to guard Lebron-- but I still have my doubts about this actually happening.
Nah, if he would have said personal reasons he would have got killed by the fans and media.

Isn't it @julius who said we would be better without Melo and Ariza? He must be crazy!

How about Allen Crabbe? Not a true SF, but he could work in some rotations.

Here's one list of available players:
There are plenty of of notable free agents and former G League players who are eligible to be signed including DeMarcus Cousins, Isaiah Thomas, Darren Collison, Jamal Crawford, Iman Shumpert, JR Smith, Nik Stauskas, Kenneth Faried, Tyler Zeller, Jerian Grant, Corey Brewer, Tyler Johnson, Jodie Meeks, Michael Beasley, Nick Young, Trey Burke, Allen Crabbe, Jordan Bell, Justin Anderson, Tim Frazier, Tyrone Wallace, Ivan Rabb, Jarrod Uthoff, Amile Jefferson, Jonah Bolden, Tyler Ennis, Josh Magette, JP Macura, Ryan Broekhoff and Yante Maten among others.

Corey Brewer?

1. He's currently playing for Real Madrid, whose season restarted a couple of weeks ago (because Spain actually flattened the curve)
2. He's not very good any more. If we're getting anyone from Real Madrid, I want Campazzo. (He can help tutor Bolmaro when we draft him.)

He wasn't very good when we let him go either. Years have passed since.

The Blazers have two spots they can fill. Brewer and Frazier?

Turner and Crabbe. Turner can play back up PG but also guard bigger players. Crabbe can play 2 and 3. And they both know the system.

I don’t know if ET has completed a buyout from the TWolves yet. Maybe it’s happened, or is going to happen, but I can’t find anything on it.

I’d take a healthy Crabbe, but really I would prefer to just let Trent, Nas, and Wenyen gobble the minutes.

Gerald Green and Jeremy Lin. Sign them
