lol yes, I’m aware of what Trent brings to the table.

We need him with the second unit, which has issues scoring as it is, hence why I prefer to start Nas.

Actually my real preference is even crazier than that (Wenyen) but I know that would never happen.
I don't think the 2nd unit is desperate for a scorer with Melo/Whiteside/Simons.

We went to the WCF with Turner, in fact. And he scored 10 points in the 4th quarter in Game 7 on the road. I don't think a young guy with no experience would've delivered in that scenario. Remember Kobe's airballs?
I wasn't referencing Turner, but ET had one good quarter amongst a bunch of terrible ones. Our young guys with no experience would probably be consistently better than the wreck that is Evan Turner. People forget how bad he really was, and only remember on quarter I guess.

Have some faith in our young guys.

he goes over the options and says it’s a wildcard that olshey finds someone outside the current roster

his second option: start Mario at the 3

:maris:
Quick is a good writer and a questionable basketball mind. How Mario is option #2 is beyond me.

Rockets sign David Nwaba
Nets sign Tyler Johnson
Spurs sign Tyler Zeller

Evan Turner would be a quality pickup. He's playoff tested, and has chemistry with the roster. He played quality minutes with the second unit. Some in here just can't get over his contract. Who cares. It's not coming out of your pocket. Dude can play, and i trust him in a playoff situation more than Ant. I like Ant's upside, but he's just not ready IMO. Love to be wrong on that.

Jokic should be fine. Blessings for his recovery. If games started next week, the Nuggets would be in trouble. There's still a month + before the games actually start.

That hero Ariza sure fucked us over.

But as everyone in this thread says, playing with your kid is more important than being a provider to him. So I say, more power to Ariza for causing us this problem.
C'mon man. That's ridiculous. You don't know the whole story.

As cases around the country continue to rise I’m starting to think they will have to rethink starting this season again.
It’s just not making much sense at this point?
People testing positive is not a surprise. They were expecting it. That’s why the testing began more than a month before the start of the season. Gives these people a chance to recover before entering bubble.

If someone enters the "Bubble" and then tests positive? Then what? This is what will not be a surprise to me. Are they expecting that? Do they stop the season again and give those people time to recover?
Now lets go back to my original statement.
"I'm starting to think they will have to rethink starting the season again". Still a month off and Florida just had a 27% increase yesterday in cases. A few weeks ago when all this was thought up they were down to 10% per day.

I think it means that if we need a center replacement, he is available and would love to play for us?

Man if I'm right, how awesome is that??????????

Im sure I will read further along and see how wrong i am though. lol.

Then he can trade with Swanigan

I wouldn't be surprised! Next season will be cancelled also. I'm calling it now.

He just likes the Yacht Club and his Bucks are staying at the Grand Destino. Also- the NBA will not allow him to change hotels so it’s moot.

They are expecting people to test positive. Once that happens, that player is self-isolated for 7 days and play resumes without him.

And that 27% is mostly outside Orlando. Players will be taking private jets to the bubble. High surges of cases in say, Miami will have no impact on the NBA.
