If he knew what it meant, then he would have known the response. It seems much more plausible that he was simply unaware. Pro athletes tend to be pretty insulated from real world happenings.

Yeah, that’s definitely true. With the overall population, the common stat you see is that total cases are about 10 X the diagnosed positive cases. Assuming that’s true with kids, probably about 3-4% of Florida‘s youth have had the disease.

No brother. This is James Harden. The same James Harden that lives in Houston Texas and has been sitting in his house for the last 4 months with nothing to do but know exactly what is happening in the country. Now if you were talking about a guy that has been on the road and playing every other night for the last 4 months i could MAYBE see a point but that isn't the case. His girlfriend is Olla Naber who happens to be an Instagram showpiece or is it Ashanti who is all over social media or whether he is still connected to a Kardashian who we all know are well everywhere doesn't matter. He is all over Twitter himself. This guy knows exactly what the Blue line is and meant.

So...why make the "statement" and backtrack on it? That part of your argument isn't making any sense. If he knew the meaning and felt it important to take that particular stand, he'd of known the repercussions and not backed off so quickly.

Not sure what you are talking about. He didn't "Backtrack" on anything. He said.... And I Quote. "I thought it looked cool and it covered my beard". He also said. And i quote again "I wasn't trying to make a political statement".

I called bullshit and i'm still calling bullshit! Harden wore it to get attention because he knew it would draw it. He is an attention whore.

Now if you want to talk about his response on the China/Hong Kong issue then we can go further into what a clown he is. ("We love China")

But how about we just let this go. I have my opinion and you must have yours.
 
If he wore it to make a statement, then saying he wore it simply because he liked the look and it covered his beard, would be backtracking. Why are you making it so complicated?

He wanted to bet me, he gave some kind of over/under on how long it will last. Can't remember how many games. I think he said it would only last the eight games leading into the playoffs. I'm sure he still feels the same way. A week or two of good results wouldn't sway his resolve that things won't work out.
 
I didnt see a Blazers return to the NBA thread(maybe I missed it)

But I just realized our first game back is on a Friday at 1pm!!!

Anyone know any reason for this? I can only imagine viewership will be through the roof. Why dont have the games on prime time? I cant take the day off( damn fellow employee has it off that I need to cover) so this is pretty lame.

Ptown, getting dissed again....
I bet the Lakers are on prime time.......
