I'm a pessimist and I didn't see that coming THIS soon.

Good for Ricky Rubio, though. I wonder if the Jazz are second-guessing themselves.

Seriously, though: why are the Suns decent this year? It's not just Rubio because they won a tough game without him. They seem to be getting more out of a bunch of players (Oubre, Baynes, Kaminsky) than anyone had a right to expect. Is Monty Williams all that?

Oh for sure! 7 games of data definitely outweighs the last several years proving it's nowhere close.

This shouldn't surprise me considering in the summer of 2018 there were people on here saying the Suns had a better roster than the Blazers after drafting Ayton, LMAO.

That affects your use of past seasons as predictions of this season.
So in one argument you use Gallo's stats from last year and ignore this year but in this argument we can't believe that the Suns are a mirage at this point based on the fact they've been dreadful in previous years?

Your post didn't even mention a good portion of players from last year's team.

The Suns have improved. The Blazers are playing like ass and I still would take their roster over the Suns.

I didn't know Baynes was still in the league, let alone the runaway MIP favorite. Although, I guess those aren't mutually exclusive.

Sometimes the combination of players and the type of coach just work well. A group that plays as a team will always be stronger than a bunch of individuals playing for themselves.

I was making the controversial assumption that a single human being's performance is more likely to be consistent across seasons than a team that has massively changed its personnel and coach.

On the last day of the regular season we have to check the records of both teams. Then, at that time, you can clearly say which is better.

Did ANYONE expect the start of our season to be this depressing? Holy hell, I haven't been this down about this team in a while now. Even Nurk going down last season didn't get me as depressed as our current performance.

But at least now everybody realizes this team isn’t that good.....maybe everybody won’t be so doomsday/sky is falling all the time. Plan on things going bad and it will make it more enjoyable.

I have that same mentality when I am with female family member of yours. #BAM
