I just realized I've been here for just over four years...I couldn't take this more OT than BGD so I'll use this thread to say how glad I am to have found my way here. Even though I haven't been posting as much, I still read the forums every day, and I've been thankful for y'all ever since I merged from the espn forums. BDSF, Strenn, ESPN HOF, Daweez, and many others who don't post here were greeted with warm welcomes from day one. I love that I don't agree with everyone here, this place would be boring if we didn't have so many great takes from different perspectives. Even when I don't like the ish some people say I'm glad that you give me a reason to look at the situation through a different window. I'm not going to agree with you, but you expand my perception, and that's respect.

To all those who frequent the meet ups, y'all are some real cats. You'd think with the way conversations go on the forums some times that there would be controversy, but I've seen nothing but respect, and that's real.

Our passion for the team and the game brought us all together, and we've shown that sports are bigger than the game itself. It's about the unity under common ground between people with different beliefs and backgrounds that makes sports fandom the important part of society that it is. Everyone definitely seems to embrace that here, and that's love.

So let's keep bumping this thread and shaping it into something great, so that some day down the road we can form a new one (hopefully about a Blazer championship). One where we celebrate not just as fans, but as brothers and sisters.

And this is what happens to Fonz after HIS first time getting high.

Ahh, I kid. You're a good man, my friend!

No truer words have been spoken in the forum. Hear, hear.

Hey NateBishop and you other ass clowns who complain about me, it looks like this guy PURPOSELY posted a link trying to make people think there was actual information about this situation. Misleading people. Jesus! That's almost as bad as posting a blurry pic from the airport. I really hope we don't lose any forum members over this.

Hahahaha!

Knicks news: Dwyane Wade jokes that fans only hate on Carmelo Anthony because they don’t look as good in a hoodie

Carmelo Anthony has been the center of criticism since requesting a trade from the Denver Nuggets late in 2010, one that has followed him in the limelight of Madison Square Garden during his tenure with the New York Knicks.

The critiques come not only from journalists and analysts, but also from people in the Big Apple who are tired of the organization failing to produce an ensemble worthy of the mecca of basketball.

Yet for teammate and longtime friend Dwyane Wade, those people only hate on him because they don’t look as good in a hoodie as him.

Hoodie Melo has proved to be a torrid scorer with no conscience — not settling for elbow jumpers and driving fearlessly for strong finishes — a tactic that would have made his old Nuggets coach George Karl proud.

His mix of long-sweeping handles and his bruising style of bully-ball are put in full display during Chris Brickley’s “Blackout Sessions,” a closed-door gym pick-up ball paradise for those elite-level players looking to get some run in the offseason.

While a player isn’t allowed to wear a hoodie during the course of an NBA game, if Anthony can bring that fearless mentality to the Garden, the Knicks would benefit from having a much better player night in and night out.

I literally was just about to rage over this. One more of these kinds of misleading posts and I swear I'm out for good. Y'all are fucked up.

FAMS. :smiley-195517897341

Misleading??

My news did just break. :dunno:

Anyone else kind of hoping the Knicks buy out Carmelo and he signs with CLE?

I'd love to see it for two reasons:

1) The tears on Clutchfans will exceed the rainfall from Hurricane Harvey.

2) Someone from the Eastern Conference may actually be good enough to not get swept by GSW in the finals.

BNM

I post a blurry pic of an airport and 5 of you absolutely LOSE your mind and put me on blast my guy. Remember? I'm joking about dviss and this link..... I actually could care less about what people post here.

dviss, I love that video of those kids reacting! Wonder where that originated from?

This is a copout. You always get super butthurt when someone calls you out. And I don't call you names, I tell you what the deal is. You're the jester of this place and nobody takes you seriously. Maybe people like you as a person, but your opinions carry very little actual merit. There's a difference between only making troll posts (like you) and only rarely making troll posts (like Dviss).

Dviss and I might disagree sometimes, and we might argue, but I at least respect that he posts his opinion. I know it's his actual opinion and not some lame attempt at a joke.

For people who know you joke a lot, they should probably know better when to take you seriously. :dunno:
