So #9 is 91 points away. Obviously the way he is playing he can reach that this year. He isn't catching Shaq. That would be 1278 points. This season so far he has just under 900 points. It would take most likely 2 more seasons to catch Shaq.
I only skimmed the numbers. I didn't get a calculator out or anything like that so don't hold me to those exact numbers.
