You are out of your mind if you think Harkless is a better player than Ryan Anderson.

I am not saying I like the proposed rumor either, but taking a devil's advocate viewpoint ......wouldn't we better? Aminu moves back to SF, backed up by ET. Anderson starts at PF backed up by Vonleh. We then have 3 shooters on the floor with Nurk and Aminu. (Crabbe could still get moved for cap space.)

Basically Aminu is as good as Harkless (Although I like Mo more) and Anderson is better than Meyers. Yes the salaries suck, but an argument could be made that we get better. Either fire Stotts or give him 3 pt shooters.

I just hope team chemistry doesnt spiral into shit. I dont know that it makes us better. Harkless can do things Anserson can't.
 
This trade as speculated doesn't improve our cap situation but it doesn't make it worse either. We wouldn't just be getting Anderson though or this deal would have been done several days ago.

Anderson can do things Harkless can't as well, and at an elite level. There's nothing Harkless does that's elite. People will tell you Aminu is overrated defensively but the one that's actually overrated is Harkless. Anderson isn't just a spot up shooter either. He's got the dirk post fadeaway that you know Stotts would utilize. He's also a better rebounder than Harkless.
 
I hope this doesn't happen or that if it does there is some really sweet component we haven't heard about yet. Cause as reported, this sucks big

But can he do things Aminu can't? I understand Harkless cuts well to the basket, but certainly Aminu with this 7'3" wing can to, if he is told to. Then you have a legitimate spread 4 in Anderson to create space for Nurk to work.

Again I am just playing devils advocate here.

Aminu is a horrific ball handler, and should receive electric shocks every time he tries to take his man off the bounce.

I preferred being bored to this. If this goes through, Olshey has given up on playing defense--let Nurkic play defense until he fouls out and otherwise try to outshoot the other team.

Oh well, the Blazers weren't winning the title anyway. Shootouts are, at least, a fun way to lose.
 
That site is the only site I see it on and I went Harden twitter and didn't see anything there so I don't know how legit it is.
 
If this goes through ther are going to be a lot of high scoring games this year. No defence maybe but some 136 to 135 games. Win some lose some!

It not saying Anderson will be starting Stotts might bring him off the bench. Turner might be starting at SF and bringing Aminu off the bench.
