So HCP says someone makes are fanbase looks clueless, then someone jokingly says "No worse than you", and he takes it personally and plays victim and get's worked up over it. It's not other people that need to lighten up over a joke, because this started because HCP took offense to that four word quote from Doug. HCP has a wide open approach when it comes to more offensive jokes such as one's about his wife and about lawn care and what not. But when he talks shit about Kingspeed, and someone basically says "You're the same", he gets upset? Makes no sense, but how is that anyone else's fault for him getting upset over words said to him that he basically said to someone else? (In terms of making a fanbase look clueless).

This is especially hypocritical when he is semi-aggressive with posters (such as "rooks") and will play victim when people get frustrated by writing it off as a joke, but then gets offended and worked up over a joke such as "No worse than you" while trying to pass it off as other people needing to chill.

Thanks, and this was the only issue I had. There is no way that I intended for all of this to go on. My post did get modded, and that was my fault for not using nicer vocabulary. In that post, I said that Eric is competent enough to stand up for himself. I wasn't babysitting or protecting him, just flipping a similar comment back to hcp, that he had just made. Shouldn't have been a big deal.... My problem was when @HCP accused me of doing nothing but attacking him. That's not why I'm here, and I do not feel I have ever done that. This place should be fun for everyone. Hcp, I'm totally up to meeting someday, and yeah, it does sound like you are a cool dude in person. Until then, I'll roll with this....

I've spread the love about this place to a TON of people. My show I used to have, Players, GMs and coaches. I think this place is better because of it.
All the shit that goes on here and people like NateBishop, whatever the fuck his name is saying I'm annoying because I post a fake picture or thread pretending it's real news..... REALLY bro? ALL the shit that gets tossed around here and you come at me over something like that? Fuck outta here with that FAMS! It's been real.

I've seen kiki vandeweghe 2 different times at Powell's bookstore. Once when I was a kid and he played for the Blazers and another time 5 or 6 years ago.

Well, we haven't seen this community and forum without him, so we can't actually know that for sure. I mean, I absolutely get where you're coming from, vis a vis HCP, but you can't prove a counterfactual.

Also, how do we know what he does for LakersGround? Maybe he puts in more time there.
 
If I post pictures of Oden's junk will that get a mod to lock this thread down before it sets a record? A thread like this should not make it into the S2 record books.

And then all of a sudden it turns into "I'm not a troll YOU'RE A troll!" for 5 pages... and then back on track again

Have you been here long enough to witness a game thread? Talk about a roller coaster ride. 19 years of Wheels behind the mike has collectively conditioned us to overreact in the extreme to each and every momentum swing over the course of a Blazers game. It really comes through during the game threads.

I've peeked in at a couple game threads and read a bunch of over reactions that were pretty similar to what I was saying to myself on the couch. That's when I knew I was in trouble. A coming to Sabas moment.
