Hey!! When did this thread stop being all about me?
Not according to the Sensitive 5...... they said I was trying to annoy, agitate and try to falsely lead people into believing something was true that wasn't I believe is what the Nate guy said. Man, what was I thinking being so flat out disrespectful to the forum like that.
Dude, its your MO.
you have openly admitted as much in the past that you mess with people here. Then when they flip shit back or freak out you toss your hands in the air and say, what did I do?
I don't give a shit, I'm just an observer here, but my god how you play the cards well.
Its pretty pathetic really.
Lets stir some shit up and then when people get their shit stirred up, lets then say, what did I do? I didnt do anything.
Give me a fucking break already with the double standards.....

If it looks like a duck and talks like a duck and walks........ well you know the rest.![]()

If I had to bet (see sig), I'd bet Lebron goes to the Lakers. Others will follow. FMLI think he'll go to LA or NYC
Could the Lakers sign LeBron/Westbrook/George?
They hired Phil Jackson and tried to make me play in a triangle offense which requires me to pass the ball. How have the Knicks treated Melo badly? They traded for him like he wanted in 2010. They put all sorts of decent players around him over the years and he's never been able to turn them into winner. They signed him to a huge contract anyway and gave him a no trade clause and have attempted to trade him to the team of his choice in Houston.

NBA Trade Rumors: Race to Acquire Carmelo Anthony May Be Down to the Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers
Despite all the rumors and drama, Carmelo Anthony is still a member of the New York Knicks. However, that may change soon enough, and there may only be two teams left that have a shot at acquiring the former All-Star.
One of those teams is believed to be the Houston Rockets.
The Rockets have been hot on the Melo trail ever since they managed to swing a deal to acquire Chris Paul.
Now, there are legitimate concerns that need to be raised about the type of defense that a team featuring both Anthony and James Harden will field, but offensively, there is a chance that a Melo-boosted Rockets squad may have enough firepower to hang with the NBA's elite.
It is not just the Rockets who may be interested as well.
In a recent report from ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Anthony himself supposedly "remains steadfast that he only plans to waive his no-trade clause for the Rockets and refuses to expand his list to include more possible destinations."
Still, that does not necessarily mean that no other teams have a shot.
The Portland Trail Blazers, for instance, have made it clear that they would be happy to acquire Anthony.
Wojnarowski recently dropped by "The Ryen Russillo Show" and talked about how the Blazers are an "interesting" squad to monitor with regards to this whole Anthony situation, the team's website reported. Wojnarowski even mentioned that the Blazershave "piqued Carmelo's interest at the very least."
Again, it is still worth pointing out here that Anthony may not be open to the idea of signing off on a deal to Portland just yet, but that it is at least on his radar is something to keep in mind.
This long and drawn out situation regarding Anthony potentially getting dealt is still ongoing, but it may be coming to an end soon now that it looks like only two teams remain interested.

New York Knicks: Alternative trade options for Carmelo Anthony
Portland Trail Blazers
The Portland Trail Blazers have made it no secret that Carmelo Anthony is a trade target. Both Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum have attempted to recruit Anthony, and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that they’ve begun to sway the 10-time All-Star’s opinion.
The Houston Rockets are still the only team that Anthony has told the New York Knicks he’d join, however, which spells the reason for this inclusion.
NEW YORK KNICKS GET:
ED DAVIS, PF/C; MAURICE HARKLESS, SF; MEYERS LEONARD, PF; 2018 FIRST-ROUND DRAFT PICK

PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS GET:
CARMELO ANTHONY, SF; KYLE O'QUINN, PF/C
Anthony would join Lillard and McCollum in a starting lineup that would feature three players who averaged at least 20 points per game in 2016-17.
Joining them would be bruising post player Jusuf Nurkic and defensive Swiss Army Knife Al-Farouq Aminu.
With a revered head coach in Terry Stotts and a system that’s proven capable of yielding intriguing offensive results, Anthony and the Trail Blazers would be fun to watch.
New York’s return is all about defense, which 6’9″ forward Maurice Harkless has provided early in his career. The Knicks would also get an expiring contract, a first-round draft pick, and another 3-point shooting big.
This could turn out to be more of a beautiful disaster, but few teams would be able to match Portland’s offensive firepower with Anthony in the mix.
I would do that trade in a heartbeat.

I think as we get closer to training camp, and a deal with Houston doesn't get done, our chances of getting Melo increase.
It's a lot to give up for what may well turn out to be a one-year rental, but yeah, put me down as approving too.
I think it for Melo it comes down to whether having a fun year playing in Portland, but away from his kid, offsets enough of the misery that playing on a losing Knicks squad, but in the same city as his kid lives. I can't speak for Melo, but for me, I'd play out my contract.
I think there are other factors in play that you have to consider. Melo is 33 years old. He doesn't have very many years left at a high level. His numbers are already slipping. So really the question is:
Do I waste another year, of which I might not have many left, to play out my contract and be with my kid? Or do I accept a trade to a team with three really good pieces already in place, who has made the playoffs four years in a row, and has a good chance of contending?
Melo will have plenty of time to spend with his kid in a few years.
