Melo still won us a game this year though. How nice of him.
 
Lesson learned: Players should never recruit other players. If we had left C.J., Dame, ... etc go recruit other guys, they would have brought us crap. See what LeBron did recruiting Wade, Rose, ... to his team?
 
On the Dwight and Aaron show they're going to discuss if the Blazers will attempt to go after Carmelo again.
 
While I think he would’ve looked better away from Russ, I think he’s pretty much close to the end. So even if we were able to dump Meyers and/or ET, it’s just not worth it.

I'm right there with you! Although, that's the most I would be wiling to pay for Melo. I would definitely not include Mo.

The most I'd trade is Meyers + ET + 2019 pick for Melo + Singler

It's well worth it! Melo's contract (and Singler if he's included) expire after the '18/'19 season. We drop a full year of unproductive salary!
At this point Melo & ET are about equals on the court (in terms of helping teams win).
 
Every time I see this thread resurface, all I can think of is this:

Even with Carmelo having a shitty season with OKC we would have been better off playing him at PF than we were Aminu. Lillard, CJ, Aminu, Melo, Nurk is a better lineup than Lillard, CJ, Mo, Aminu, Nurk.

Also with Melo we would have won a game against the Pels.

Maybe, Chief played hard. Oh you replaced Mo...well if we had a 100% healthy Moe we probably would have won a game too.
