That helps but you still have to have talent. I'd be surprised if he has much left in the tank esp after sitting out so long.

Ant Baze Skal and Pau have the potential to be a monster bench if Little starts with Hood and Hassan Dame and CJ...if Melo is hot he could finish games with Hassan Dame CJ and Rodney..Baze won't have pressure to score with the second unit and can concentrate on defense most of the time to hide Melo's defensive weakness

I like Noah but this coach has a propensity for going small when it counts. I feel like Terry Stotts watched "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" and thought he could do better with a basketball team. Any big man would get wasted on the Blazers. You'll probably see Melo play some 5 when it's all said and done.

Not entirely fair bro. Those were said with a healthy team last year i believe. Right?
 
Melo is not gonna to start. He might by mid December but this makes all the sense in the world. Start little (like Vonleh) and see how Melo works. If you have to make a change then mke a change. This is typical blazer basketball. Melo is going to help. Period.
I hope people dont expect him to come in on Tuesday and change shit. Give him a couple games.. this is going to be a good thing.

I hope he starts at drops 20+ in his feel-out game and then dominates the rest of the year. I hope the road trip is successful enough for the Moda Center crowd to be going wild when we return.
