This is my guess on the rotation as things currently stand

Lillard
McCollum
Hood
Anthony
Whiteside

Simons
Bazemore
Little or Hezonja
Anthony
Labissiere

if neither little or Hezonja earn minutes Stotts will probably just shorten the rotation and stagger CJ or Hood.

I believe I let it be known that I have never liked Carmelo as a team player and whoever had him that team would never win a championship. When I heard the news on M&M that we had signed Carmelo I about cut my wrists. Then I started thinking about it how much worse can he be then the people we got in place now? When we signed Tolliver I thought he would come in and be as good as Jake...LOL...I was really wrong. So we got 10 days to see if he can be a stop gap for Pau who might not play this season, Zach who might not play this season. Worst case scenario he sucks and we are back where we started and we look at next season with a lottery pick and healthy Nurk, Zach, and a shit ton of expiring contracts. So at this point I am ok with it because we have nothing to lose that we have not already lost and everything to gain.

I actually believe the Woj report that the blazers were in contact with Melo since the preseason. We had an open roster spot and Collins was pretty much the only dependable guy we had at the four, and he’s really more of a five anyway. My guess is they wanted to evaluate what they had before pursuing someone like Melo later on in the season. The timeline just got sped up out of necessity.

I’m not expecting it to work, but I’m very happy that something was done. I think we have plans to trade but we needed something until then. Next year we’re going to be really good with healthy Nurk, Collins, even better Simons, and a lottery asset. Plus with a narrative of redemption and coming back to being relative again lines up well for next season to be special.

Maybe Melo is part of a trade with the Knicks? They have 47855675433987 Power Forwards on their Team, so what if we trade Melo + X + 2nd round pick to the Knicks for Morris? Melo gets his Farawell tour on his team, Knicks Management get's publicity and we get a good Power Forward, Knicks might be stupid enough to do that

Or Melo + Whiteside + 1st round pick for Morris and Randle or Portis? Again Knicks might be dumb enough to do that

Not to mention....all the behind the scene drama that's goin on..
Don't forget that part!!!

Good. The sooner we get this charade over with the better.
Here’s the thing. There is NO pressure for this experiment to work. None. It can’t get worse than it was. We were driving a 78 pinto and we were late to work every day. Now somebody gave us a 95 Benz with 400,000 miles on it with no 4th or 5th gear.
Drive on FAMS, drive on.

Melo will not be eligible to be traded this season.

Even if he was why wouldn't NY have just signed him instead of waiting for a team to pick him up to trade for him?

C'mon man.

The knicks woulda just signed him if they wanted him. He has no trade value.

Oh man that would have been so great

remember when Olshey said this new roster was going to stretch the floor better and create better spacing than last year's roster?

c'mon man...sample size...it was only 10 games and he only attempted 57 shots. The year before he shot 43.7% over 78 game while attempting 694 shots. Over both seasons his TS% was .503 then .513. in the last 2 seasons, Evan Turner shot .504 and .520. In other words, Melo shot worse than Turner....yikes!
Do you see the irony in your post?
