Ingredients:
.) Lose the turnover battle. Don't extend the defense at all and make sure that you don't play the passing lanes.
.) Give up open mid-range shots. Make sure not to get to close to the shot to actually contest it. Even if the shooter doesn't have 3-point range, fight over the screen anyways.
.) Get outrebounded on the boards. Don't box out. Guards, don't help out your big man rebound or leak out in transition. Just stand at the 3-point line hoping the big grabs the rebound then jog to the opposite 3-point line in transition, hoping for a quick 3.
.) Don't run harder than the other team. The offense needs to flow, and that means the offense must be set up in the half-court. If there's a chance to run, don't. Also, don't sprint back on D, and don't pick up the ball unless you're the PG. If Lillard isn't back and the PG is pushing, let him score the lay-in as it isn't your guy.
.) Don't shoot lay-ins because they're not worth 3 points.
