It's reasonable to speculate about Pritchard's culpability for what came before that, since he was part of the front office. Personally, I don't judge him much by that. The only evidence I have of that time, in regards to Pritchard, was that (again, reportedly) he was big on Chris Paul in the draft but was drowned out at the table. This suggests two things to me: 1. he was clearly not in charge and 2. he was not right in tune with Nash/Patterson. Therefore, my opinion is that those years would have gone differently had Pritchard actually been in charge and I don't consider it a great way to judge him. Reasonable minds can differ, but that's my view.
That is pretty much opinion as well. KP was a very good GM, imho. Might not have been able to walk on water - but he was a very good GM and did wonderful things for this team.
The good news is, that Cho seems, on paper, to be a very good GM candidate as well, but as usual, only time will tell.
