The Thunder beat the Spurs

Wow, they're 5-4, AND played really good against the Lakers IN LA, and just beat the Spurs in San Antonio and they beat the Magic (by 28). They did lose to the Kings though.

Also note that the Spurs are 0-3 on the road.

They have a stretch of 9 out of 10 games on the road in Feb, with 2 home games the WHOLE month. March is only slightly better with 10 on the road and 7 at home. In the last 36 games, I think they have 24 on the road. 5 out of their last 8 are road games too (against Lakers, Denver, Mavs and Nuggets).

Also, outside of Miami being 2-0 on the road, the Blazers have the best road record right now. Tied for most wins too.

Man, it's crazy, isn't it? If the playoffs started today, the Kings, Rockets, and Thunder would be playoff teams. Meanwhile, the Spurs, Jazz, and Hornets (playoff teams last year) would be lottery teams this year. Who would have thunk it?

Of course, the season is still young and a lot of things can and probably will change. I just can't see the Spurs or Jazz missing the playoffs. I'm not sure about the Hornets, though.

I can absolutely see the Jazz missing the playoffs. They're horrible. Remember how they sputtered from a possible division winner to barely making the playoffs last season? They're not very good. And Miles and Korver are out. And Harpring may be done for good.

Jazz are not going to miss the playoffs unless injuries take them down. Deron Williams is one of the best PGs in the league, they have nice pieces in Boozer, Milsap, Okur and Brewer and they have nice backup PG in Maynor. They will not be contender - but things will start to click for them.

If they can trade Boozer for an athletic wing scorer - they will be very good.
