Newspapers all over the country reported Trump struck unity tone in his speech.
Seriously?
Apparently they looked at prepared 25 minute speech and wrote articles before listening to actual 92 minute rambling unhinged facts free speech.

I might move to Canada. I’m losing faith in how stupid this country is.

Nova Scotia to be precise.

That was an awkward response. Why delve into it? Just say yes or no like you did the other questions
You'd think, right? Almost seems like he might have a guilty conscience or something

The RNC displayed a 70 star flag at the convention. Looks like we're getting more Dakotas.

Trump pledged to end Consumer Financial Protection Agency. It has returned $20 billion to American consumers from businesses that ripped them off.

Conman is going to con.

Trump ordered the United Auto Workers to fire their president. That will certainly endear him to working people.
In authoritarian and fascist countries the party in power does replace genuine trade unions with their own so called unions whose role is to force compliance.

500 years from now, when they write “The Rise And Fall of the American Empirr” in a luxurious 12-volume set, when do you think they’ll say democracy in the United States ended, like what year or decade? Will it be when JFK was murdered? Will it be when Trump won in 2016? Somewhere in between? Nixon? Reagan? Maybe W getting the nod from the Supreme Court in 2000?

Reagan. Or Clinton, as the wolf in sheep's clothing.

Elon Musk shared AI generated video of Trump murdering Biden and called it best video ever. Your serene pensive unifying Trump.

There was madness in any direction, at any hour. If not across the Bay, then up the Golden Gate or down 101 to Los Altos or La Honda. . . . You could strike sparks anywhere. There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning. . . .

And that, I think, was the handle—that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn’t need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting—on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave. . . .

So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark—that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.”

Yet they keep saying MAGA is the problem.

There are problem people of all ideologies. Finding someone who is a problem isn't surprising.

The thing is MAGA is based largely on animus, violence, force, revenge, attacking. It's opponents are not.

However, when your leader is telling people to punch, fight, insinuating they should shoot the other side's candidate, it's to be expected that some people will respond in kind.

In other words, you can't take the conduct down a violent path and then cry foul when people defend themselves with violence in return.

Stop the intellectual dishonesty and projection.

Last night the new serene pensive unity Trump ridiculed Biden and said Nancy Pelosi, whom he called crazy, dumped him "like a dog".
Dogs are of course notoriously loyal.

And I LOVE Carl Sagan. Love love love.
I think I'm high. And I haven't been drinking. Not even a chocolate.

A lot of red flags
Pardoning Nixon. Not about vengeance but establishing no one is above the law. Even a president. Ford could have pardoned him after a trial, he has suffered enough blah blah blah, still establish it is not legal just because a president does it.
Under Reagan began a huge transfer of wealth upward which has continued to this day. In good times when the middle rises top rises more and in bad times top rises most. You can have democracy or you can have a tiny number of billionaires.
The notion that really got going in the 1990s with talk radio and people like Gingrich, amplified with rise of internet, that one's opponent is not just someone with a different viewpoint but a deadly enemy to be destroyed.
Clinton is not Nixon but known to sail near the wind but was held accountable for stupidity.
Citizens United put money with no limit in politics.
Overuse of filibuster to block everything.
Federalist Society and decades long effort of the hard right to take over judiciary, now pretty complete with ruling Trump has absolute immunity (and no mistake, when they said president they meant Trump, this court has regularly overruled Biden).
And of course not just Trump himself but absolute capitulation of Republican party with just few exceptions.

Don Jr. suggested Alex Jones as his father's press secretary if he is elected.
