Exactly. My observations have been that those kinds of "patriots" are locked and loaded, actively seeking someone to challenge their small penis energy. They want a confrontation to make themselves feel better about themselves. Plant a Biden flag in your yard and call it good. Sometimes passive aggression is entertaining.......

That guy wouldn't fit in where I live. Black lives matter sign on one side of me, LGBTQ flag on the other side and a number of Biden/Harris signs all around.

Yeah, Clark county is kind of different world than Portland proper. Lots of Republicans over here.

Convicted sexual assaulter Trump is telling women we need him to protect us. Otherwise there will be immigrants in the kitchen!

I bet a lot of privileged Karens already have immigrants in the kitchen. No doubt better cooks than they are.

The amount of MAGA who suffer from Stockholm Syndrome is staggering.

They seem to be both desperate to be seen as the cool kid, but also be seen surrounding who they perceive to be the cool kid.

There is nothing that he's done that has been good for the entire country, and there have been many things he's done that clearly screwed over less fortunate or those who are maligned by his base.

Someone please point to something he's done in his career that was a success, that was *his* doing. The only thing you can maybe point to, The Apprentice, wasn't something of his creation.

His businesses have mostly failed. His marriages, failed. His children are losers. He's a liar, a cheat, and an immoral person.


But somehow he's convinced white evangelicals that they're the victims, he's a victim, and they're being replaced (etc).

If this wasn't real life, it would make for a stupid movie.

Yes of course, but they are the ones who blow a gasket over press two for Spanish and bilingual ballots. America speaks English only! And their English is dreadful.

You guys realize people who may be less educated than you are allowed to exist right? I thought liberals were all about protecting the downtrodden and disadvantaged? Instead they seem to use their own (self inflated) level of intelligence or “education” as a baseline, then proceed to disregard the opinions of anyone below that.

I'm not attacking anyone's intelligence. I'm merely pointing out Trump's own words.
 
Trump is praising Hungarian dictator Orban. Orban was a normal politician, very conservative, but within the democratic system, until he was voted out. While out of power he worked to be sure that couldn't happen again. He took control of judiciary and media and changed the constitution. He has been in power unchallenged since 2010 and is there for life. What Trump says he wants. When Chinese communist party made Xi president for life, Trump asked if he could do the same.

Trump said Orban is not controversial because whatever he says goes.

Yep. And I prefer that we encourage and enable all of them to gain as much quality education as possible.

To encourage somebody to avoid education is to encourage them to suffer.

Agreed, but I will expand on this idea.

I believe both the far right, and far left, go to extremes trying to be cool. So extreme, both partys have become dangerous.

Neither party represents what is truely best for the country. Their extreme delusional behavior now makes both partys cults, and no longer true political partys.

What we have now are two cults fighting with each other for total control. Both cults are hurting our country.

You HONESTLY think “liberals” believe that less educated people shouldn’t exist? You want a list of who Trump’s fans ACTUALLY don’t want to exist?

The "Far left and Far right" are not political parties though. They may be 20% of their voting base. The entire Jan 6th committee was fueled by Trump's own cabinet members as witnesses..what's hurt the country is a polarized partisan addicted legislative branch and a stacked Supreme Court. There's little parity in the geo political landscape today. The name tags of our representatives are not those today of days gone by. The movement to erase civil rights, women's rights and the separation of church and state falls squarely on the GOP and it's leadership. If anything, the MAGA movement has been a wake up call for believers in the constitution and equal/civil rights.
