I have a few friends that didnt get shingles shots, and all 3 got shingles and suffered with it. Ive gotten I think three and have been fortunate so far.
 
That Shingrix shot hurt like hell, but a lot less than shingles.

I missed measles vaccine by weeks. I had a case of measles that literally almost killed me when I was five. I was still in bed when the vaccine got approved. My brother got vaccine. No measles. Polio shots have been improved, the first ones really hurt. Polio hurts a lot more.

Fucking racists can't even come up with original lies. I am old enough to remember all the pre social media bullshit that Vietnamese immigrants were eating dogs. If anyone's pet went missing they would be asked if there was a Vietnamese family in the neighborhood.

Actually - I have traveled in China and SE Asia quite a bit over the years and eating dog is not unusual. In fact while in rural Guangzhou China our Chinese friend showed us the characters that spelled dog so we could avoid ordering it when we saw it on menus (I usually avoided all meat just in case). Our Filipina friend who was raised on a plantation in Northern Luzon told us that they would often catch rats and other rodents in the fields for their protein. I believe this is less common today then it was 30 years ago but when you're poor and hungry you sometimes eat what you can get.
 
Dogs have been a protein source. It makes us cringe because we think of dogs as companions. But there are no verified reports of Vietnamese immigrants eating someone's pet dog or of Haitians eating cats. I can't believe we have to say this.
Professional racist Charlie Kirk acknowledged no verification but said he doesn't trust the police or media who said so. Of course an anonymous fourth hand rumor is so much more reliable.

Yes it makes us cringe and that's why they say it as an effort to disparage immigrants.
