Ironically, it is precisely the safety and rationality of modern society that has allowed anti-vaccination beliefs to flourish. Gillray’s contemporaries feared the deaths of their children and were haunted in their drawing rooms and city streets by faces deformed by pockmarks. Modern antivaxers are exposed to no such monitory horrors. They indulge their stupidity in ignorance of real suffering; their good health guaranteed by the “herd immunity” provided by the mass of sensible citizens who do get vaccinated.
Trump has lowest approval rating after one month of any president in 70 years. Likewise Musk, Vance, cabinet picks. He is under water on economy. He is not trusted to bring down prices. Majorities disapprove of mass layoffs, shutdown of AID, shutdown of medical research, even banning trans people from military. Over 80% distrust Putin.
They aren't on our side. Democrats are fine with these changes. These changes are good for them (personally). With these changes they have more power over us plebs. We need SOMEBODY to speak up. That's for sure.

Yep. I think I made this point a few posts after this.
I don't know why we get behind any politican. Literally just keep voting for the lesser of two evils.
The norm is INVOLVED with the school and campus life. Games, events, functions. It’s ODD if they aren’t. I believe that’s what she’s saying. Not crazy about any Trump but goes to class, goes home?
Unfortunately, we (collectively) don't consistently vote for the lesser of two evils.
If we did, the country would be in far better shape (and would have been for decades now).
That's literally all we need to do to have a better government, is keep voting for the lesser of two evils!
If the lesser of two evils always got elected, the goal of every party would be to find a candidate that was less evil to run.
Soon you'd have to be Motherfucking Theresa to get elected.
The problem is that we keep voting for the greater of two evils. That kinda sends the wrong signal.
