    The Supreme Court is looking at a case for Louisiana. Louisiana had 1 majority black district on their congressional map. They were sued and forced to add a second one. Black voters drew and presented a map that would add a second district and that was compact. Lawmakers instead drew another map, with the district stretching strangely across the state like a snake. This was struck down but then allowed to be used for the election.

    The lawmakers were sued again as the map they had drawn was based on race. The lawmakers defense: It is not based on Race, but on Gerrymandering. They had written the map to protect GOP majority leader Mike Johnson and two other GOP's in Congress in order to maintain majority.

    They just deny that it happened and since the people who follow him only watch what Trump wants them to they don't actually know that it did happen?

    I honestly thought that people all knew that he said those things and were claiming he meant something else or something...
     
    I find it likely that one of the Generals or someone involved in the military purposely added Goldberg to the grout text in order to show Hegseth’s incompetence. Or even perhaps ANONYMOUS

    Trump loves to spin a lie. Holding back the crowd my ass. She was climbing through a broken door window, leading a crowd to attack officers so they could get to members of Congress/Senate. She was far from innocent.

    And for that interviewer to bring that up in that manner and basically tell Trump to go after that officer. That's fucked up. Trump probably going to have his medal stripped and have him fired, if not worse.

    Greenland visit cancelled after locals refuse to welcome Usha Vance

    The US Second Lady had been due to spend several days in Greenland on a 'cultural visit.'


    Usha Vance’s visit to Greenland’s capital was cancelled after US representatives failed to find any locals to welcome her, according to reports.

    The Second Lady had planned to visit the Danish territory this week alongside other senior US government figures in a visit that had been described as a “provocation” by Greenland’s acting head of government Mute Egede.

    It was later announced that JD Vance would be joining his wife on the visit, which was set to come after months of the Trump administration voicing their desire to take over the territory.

    Usha Vance had been set to spend several days in Greenland on a “cultural visit.”

    However, changes were subsequently made to the trip, which the White House confirmed on Tuesday would only involve the Vances visiting the US Pituffik Space Base, on the north-western coast.

    Now, Danish broadcaster TV2 has reported that part of Mrs Vance’s visit to the capital of Nuuk was cancelled after US representatives failed to find any locals who wanted to greet the Second Lady.
