All I constantly read about is Republicans v. Democrats. Why we fighting foreign wars when the most dangerous war in the world is being fought on a political field within our own country?
To distract from the war we're fighting In our own country. And money.

Anyone else remember having a president who could meet with foreign leaders without embarrassing the United States?

The US Commission on Fine Arts, whose members were all picked by Trump after he fired previous members, voted to create a solid gold coin with Trump's face to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Declaration of Independence. The commission said no one more embodies spirit of America than Trump. US law prohibits putting living people on currency but they claim they found an exemption that allows a Trump coin.

That’s a coin I’d readily toss into a body of water and make a wish.

Here is Mike Johnson celebrating the potential 18% lower voter turnout the SAVE ACT could deliver...

Are they sure that's good for Republicans?

Republicans now have significantly lower income than Democrats. Some of these Republicans are stuck with old assumptions of 20+ years ago when it was the opposite.

People in rural areas will have a harder time re-registering than urban. Harder time getting to polling places.

But, Save Act also demands all voter lists be turned over to DHS for "review" so Trump appointees can flag anyone they think might not be legitimately registered or voting. You know, cities, college towns, Black communities...

FEMA official Gregg Phillips claims he teleported to Waffle House

Far-right activist turned high-ranking FEMA official Gregg Phillips has a problem. Sometimes he finds himself "teleporting" into ditches, or even into a Waffle House.

CNN reports that Phillips spoke "on multiple podcasts" about being teleported against his will, which he has described as "evil." As director of the Office of Response and Recovery, Phillips oversees billions in funds, and is deeply involved in rapid response efforts in the aftermath of disasters.

...

"Teleporting is no fun," Phillips said last year. "It's no fun because you don't really know what you're doing. You don't really understand it, it's scary, but yet so real. And you know it's happening but you can't do anything about it, and so you just go, you just go with the ride. And wow, what just an incredible adventure it all was."

Phillips in the same interview described "teleporting" to a Waffle House 50 miles away. "I was with my boys one time and I was telling them I was gonna go to Waffle House and get Waffle House," he said. "And I ended up at a Waffle House - this was in Georgia and I end up at a Waffle House like 50 miles away from where I was."

I don't think it necessarily matters if they are right or not.

I think the intention matters more. This confirms they're actively trying to depress legitimate voter turnout.

Which everybody knew. But it can no longer be seriously denied.
