It was the U.S.S. Cole Navy ship that was attacked in Yemen, two Al-Qaeda members in a small raft waved to the sailors as they came close and exploded themselves.

Well if they cared about limiting civilian casualties then they wouldn't have started a war which killed that many civilians, in a situation that they didn't need to interfere with.More civilians are dying in Africa, I'll bring that up again if I have to.
 
No, we care more about the overrated threat of islamic terrorism that has not even killed more than 100 people in attacks in the last year outside Iraq...some threat.
 
Well September 11th and the bombings in Spain were significant, but obviouslt what we really care about is oil and revenge.
 
You are damn right we are looking for revenge. I don't know about you, but September 11th was a pretty damn emotional day and that day will never be forgotten. Those who are responsible should be brought to justice.The funny thing is, after 9/11 you guys were probably 100% on board with the War on Terror (everyone was). We are fighting a war in urban cities with innocent lives all around, there are going to be some civilian casualties. There were millions and millions of civilian casualties in World War II, maybe we shouldn't have gotten involved in that one, either.Our policy is this; we want to take those down who target innocent people to spread terror. It's a damn good policy, too.

As long as goverments share intelligence and act terrorism can be kept to nil levels.
 
I was referring to revenge for daddy, not September 11th. Saddam wasn't flying planes into buildings.
 
Nope, but there were terrorist organizations in Iraq that probably have connections to other terrorist attacks across the globe. Our mission isn't just to end the terrorists who caused and planned the attacks, it's the end all terrorists and all future attacks. Whether they are on US soil or not.
 
Do you live on planet Zooloo or something or in a dreamworld? Terrorist attacks are going to happen once and a while, it's a fact of life like hurricanes and vehicle accidents. We can stop 90% of them by sharing intelligence and thats what we are doing but invading islamic countries is just a waste of time and billions of dollars. I just think you act like terrorism is the end all be all of the world when their are much bigger problems out there.
 
So because terrorist attacks are going to happen we should care less about it? Do you know that it is practically impossible to solve world hunger? To have 0% un-employment rate and 0% poverty? To have 0% fail and drop outs in school? So I guess we should just give up on those, too.Just because something seems impossible doesn't mean you don't give it your best shot. You never know what could happen. If you turn a blind eye because the problem is too large it's only going to get larger.
 
What are you talking about? I'm simply saying that the international intelligence community is very efficient at catching most terror groups and that it's by far the best way to do things. I'm not saying to forget about the problem at all. I'm just saying your making it out to be a bigger problem than it is and that going Rambo and rapping yourself in a flag and proclaiming to stop every terror attack ever is just ridiculously simple minded.
 
Is terrorism that big of an issue for you personally? I'm serious. I just don't understand why a bunch of radicals that attack every couple of years makes you want to join the army and spend billions of dollars.

And even in those limited attacks, hundreds of lives are lost for no reason what-so ever. It pisses me off to the point where one of my personal goal in life is to kill as many of those little freaks that I can.I watch 9/11 footage and I listen to tapes of victims making their last phone calls every single day. It's a great reminder to me of what happened that day and why we must continue this fight. You don't have to believe in it, although you should, but I do.

No, Mr. Wolf is just simple minded. He believes 100% what goverment or George Bush tells him. OMG, Terrorists killed 60 people today in Egypt! It's the end of the world lets spend $10 billion dollars to find them!

Sure, you could always use the education or health care card but I really don't mind. If we in this War we need to spend all the money we can to keep our troops safe and to make sure the job is done right. The troops out there already don't have all the proper equipment they need to be safe so if you ask me they aren't spending enough money, or atleast spending it in the right areas.I strongly believe in the War in Iraq so you are going to get a biased answer from me. Whether Saddam had WMD's or not, it doesn't matter, the war was justified because Saddam broke over 12 different U.N. sanctions and policies. Plus, the Iraqi's were not getting a chance at a fair life and after this I think their life will be a lot better and in some areas it already is better.Sorry that I missed your question.
 
Everyone breaks UN sanctions/resolutions, we have and Israel has.
