Im really hoping Joel has fully recovered from his injuries and will be ready to play next year. What are the chances that we see him in a Blazers uniform next season? We sure could use his rebounding and toughness.

7 footers of even marginal utility don't make the veteran's minimum unless they are over the age of 35 ... Joel is going to be out of our price range I suspect.

I suspect your right, but that's what Paul Allen is for. I also suspect that perhaps Joel only wants to come back as a Blazer, if not retire. So that might give us some leeway on what we would pay him.

Noelle has a desire to be closer to her home, so I'm not sure it's Portland or bust for Joel.

And it's not whether PA could afford Joel, it;s whether overpaying him is smart basketball when we are in big need of other players
