Top 2 picks go to TWolves and Lakers. TWolves will have 3 number one picks along with Lavine, Dieng, vets Pek, Martin, Rubio and cap space. Lakers will add one of the two dominant bigs and Julius Randle along with multiple free agents. Outside of Denver the west could potentially have 14 teams that are in the mix for the playoffs. The Thunder and Suns will add late lottery talent while already being far better than the mid tier East teams. Utah was one of the best teams in the league after the all star break with a great young core. The Kings will have Allstar Demarcus working under George Karl for a full season. Wow it's somehow going to be an even tougher conference next year.

yeah, maybe LMA will decide to head to an Eastern conference team!

Yep

I really wish Portland could trade up to draft D'Angelo Russell.

I like that the Lakers got 2. Ideally, Towns goes to Minnesota. Lakers take Okafor? Okafor and Randle seems like a pretty poor pairing, IMO. If they fell to 3 or 4, then they'd more likely take Russel or Mudiay. Instead, they pair Al Jefferson with Zach Randolph. Perfect. Fuck 'em.

The Wolves have done such a great job with all those lottery picks over the years ....

That's when they had Khan running the team. Sanders pick wasn't bad and he made a deal for Wiggins too.

I hope they don't pull some Flaker magic and get towns by some silly trade

Re: The T-Wolves. Getting better and being a playoff contender aren't the same thing. I'll wait until they are actually good to start spending too much time being concerned about them.

Let's not forget that Flip is also COACHING the Wolves.

Damn so who do we want the Lakers to take? I want them to suck but it seems like they can't loose now with Towns or Okufar

But what if they take Russell?

If we are worried about the t wolves or lakers....wow...

I'd be more scared if the Lakers drafted Mudiay and Kobe taught him...

not a center driven league right now, don't care about the top two

The Lakers would be smart to take one of the stud PG's. And I know the media will be pushing for it as well. They are looking for a players that transcends, The bigs are solid, but not special. I hope they go big, but I doubt they will.

Heard the Twolves would be the first team to ever have 3 back to back to back 1st picks play for them if they keep it.

They've gotten better.

Flipped Love for Wiggins+Bennett, drafted LaVine, flipped Burke for Shabazz and Dieng.

Yeah add Towns and they have possibly the best young talent in the NBA. Philly starting to look very good as well. Utah and Orlando have good young potential starting lineups. In 3-4 years these teams are going to make huge improvements. Similar to Oklahoma City and Golden State making the jump from interesting youth>playoffs>50wins> maybe contenders. They have the patience for quality rebuilds.

The Pelicans screwed this up having such a rush to be a playoff team they don't have the upside to take that next step. I don't believe the Knicks will have the patience; they'll make short sided trades to become a marginal playoff team. The Lakers are adding a couple interesting pieces. What route will they take? Sucks for them they owe two first round picks to Philly and Orlando. Those picks could potentially be #4 and #1 overall. Randle and Okafor seem like a terrible fit and even if they somehow get Love he'd just be a third similar big man with no defense.
