I recently unfortunately got a virus, randomly, the other day. The virus was a cake, as it was removed easily with AVG. The problem is now, the aftermath of the virus. My computer is acting up, not letting me open anything. For example, if I double-click Mozilla, it gives me this message. Every time.
I can do two things to actually open Firefox. Click OK for Firefox on that window, or right-click on my Firefox desktop icon and click "start."
Dumb thing is, this message appears for EVERYTHING. Even for a freaking calculator, or notebook. So my only option for those is pretty much right-clicking it and clicking "start."
It's been like this ever since the virus was removed, I even did a system restore just 10 minutes ago to March 17, 2010 and it's still happening. I really don't know what to do, I fear AVG might have removed some data from my computer?
Any help would be great, I'm pretty desperate right now.
