Not sure what to make of your post....

I wasn't trying to "disguise" my attempt to get some of you to comment in the Raptor thread.

Not sure how its pathetic either. My attempt is to get all the boards interacting with one another.

Why is that pathetic?

Dunno about you, but I get tired of just the "rah rah Cowboys (my team)" threads when discussing my team....and I like to interact with Giants, Eagles, and Redskins fans..... If that's not your "cup of tea", fine, don't head over there. But for some who might like to interact with other people outside of just Nets fans, I posted the link.

Pathetic in what such way? I think he's doing a good thing and trying to say that there are other forums and it's not just Nets only. I mean, you can talk about what you want, where you want, but it's kinda arrogant the way you go about it.

I also post on the Bosox Forum... but I dont got to the Yankees or Mets forum telling them to go to our forum because ours isnt nearly as active as theirs. Its of poor taste IMHO. But hey im not a Nets mod but if I was I wouldn't allow it.


Also people know there are other forums on S2... they aren't dumb.

True, but this is a good all around forum, and with the Nets section being the most popular, we would love to hear your opinions on other topics in S2. There's no attempt by any of us to offend anyone of course, we just would love to see more activity in other forums by the most popular forum we have here.
 
We have Summer Olympics forum, too. Is that popular in China?

do you feel threatened or something. You're being quite defensive. Is there something wrong with options?

This is not a us vs them site. It's a sports site and some ppl are trying to make newer members aware of the various things Sports Two has to offer.
This is not a group of little clubs and they 'invade' each other. This is a multi-sport community and maybe some ppl are not aware of that.

Hence fans of other teams posting in "Nets" threads.

Hey I have no problem with your experiment like I said before, this is a very active forum (Nets) & hard to keep up with everything... now you throw in more topics about things that have nothing to do with the nets? or even the NBA? eh. I bet people that come from netsdaily.com actually expect nets news & nets talk not footballl, soccer or tennis. But whatever I already stated my opinion and moved on, if it becomes a problem then it is time to leave that is all.

Threatened? No. But It makes it harder to keep it up with everything that is going on this forum (Nets) if you throw in things that have nothing to do with my Nets, that's why Im here. To ready news, to talk about rumors and see what people are saying about the Nets. And It's a waste of my time if I have to go thru non-nets topics if you catch my drift?

And like I said before, people know this forum isn' just a Nets forum.. (Duh) So don't use that as a cheap excuse. Also people that got to Netsdaily.com then click on message boards actually expect Nets news and talks. Not (Like I said before) Soccer, Rugby or football. But if they feel like talking about those things Im sure they know where to do that. Don't underestimate people.

No one is saying to create topics about soccer or rugby here in the nets forum, all we're saying Claud is that a lot of Nets fans, need to get out a little bit and enjoy other areas of S2, like the football forums, baseball, soccer, and whatever else we have. (like MMA forums)


Like you post in the Sox forum, there is nothing wrong with that. I bet every Nets fan roots for another sport as well and has a favorite team for football or baseball, or maybe they root for soccer (if they are foreigners). We have all those forums here, why go somewhere else when you can do all the talking here, for basically every sport out there.

That's all we're saying. And if you guys want to stick in the Nets forum and never get out, then that's fine as well. Its your choice basically.
 
If only we had this much dialogue about Hassan Adams... I miss him as a Net
