1. Bayless is getting worse. So predictable. I miss BLake at backup PG.

2. Websters gonna have a mental breakdown. Have you ever seen a player play with his head down like his best friend died? Watch the nets game.

3. Im still getting a really bad vibe from this team.

4. Camby is gonna milk this injury for months. Not ot mention hes older... takes longer to heal. I hope he plays by next week.

5. PLEASE DONT DRAFT ANYMORE DUDES FROM SPAIN. The biggest bitches in the basketball world. It must be tough growing up with the name Rudy. Not TO mention... Rudys play has been so bad, the nets exposed him. The Nets.

Only thing in here that I disagree with is the part about Camby. Saying he's going to "milk" the injury suggests that he's going to claim injury even when healthy. I doubt that; I think he wants to play, and I expect to see him by the Memphis game.

The rest of the post seems spot on (though perhaps a bit harsh on Spanish players). Is it too early to trade Claver?

Do you believe anything that's printed in the National Enquirer? It's the Spanish equivalent of such that published this story about Rudy.

ABM, when Barret was on 95.5, he made it seem like people inside the org. knew about this...

So let me get this right. Bayless playing 7 minutes, shooting 50% and hitting his only 3 pointer and getting 3 assist over that 7 minutes before rolling his ankle is Bayless getting worse get rid of him.

Do you have any idea how bad Westbrook played before he got better? The PG Bayless reminds me most of is Billups, who struggled to find the right fit for about 3 years before making most of the teams who let him go, feel like shit for doing so.

saying rudy is unhappy is like saying the nets suck

pretty obvious

**Just wanted to give a big THANKS to MIXUM for labeling this "(more bitching)" ...made it much easier to skip over for me. Could you label all your threads / posts like this?:ghoti:

*contradiction noted.

a player could say fuck kp and wheels would say , i think he had too much too drink the night before.

wheels lol. biggest homer ever

I can't take this seriously. Lets assume like Bayless or Rudy or Webster do really well tonight this kid who started the topic changes his tune about how great they are in a second. Heck, just not to long ago he was not happy with Batum and I don't see his name mentioned anywhere. Please, your gimmick is tiring.

Good to see you finally express your feelings about some of the negatives you see on this team. For as long as I can remember, I've had this little pet nickname for you. I called you 'Rudy Sunshine' because all you EVER do is look on the bright side of life.

Conversely, for you, the glass is always half-full. Because that's all it will be or ever become.

You are forgetting his two back-to-back fouls. Congrats to him for hitting a 3. Andre hit one as well. I don't want either guy shooting them.

Big deal. Young players get fouls. Then one day, they learn. The other young players pick up fouls too. The question is, which player in particular does the fan in question hate and choose to pick on. Dante Cunningham fouls like mad. Rudy does a lot too. So did Oden. So did Aldridge his first few years. So did most young players that came into the league. Only in rare occasions, does a player come in and play like a vet from the start.

Aside from the bit about Camby (there isn't enough time for him to milk an injury for months), I actually think you have some pretty good points in here.

I guess that matters how wide of a view you take in looking at some of the things said.

1. I accept the fact that young players are going to have to take their lumps while figuring things out. Remember this is a two way street. They are trying to figure out how to play at a higher level in the NBA. Management is trying to figure out if they can even do so. They obviously think they can, or they wouldn't have drafted them. Many draft picks have a rough time their first year or two in the league. The problem is, the playing of the young players, and the lumps, should have happened last year, not this year.

2. Is drafting players from Spain the problem, is it WHO was drafted from Spain. I see Pau and Marc Gasol kicking some ass out there. Most of the guards from Spain, not so much. (to put it lightly).

3. Bad Vibe from the team? The team was done when Oden went down. Year over. Playing only for the sake of saying they played hard.

The daily Marca in today's edition of Real Madrid's interest in signing Rudy Fernandez for next season. The Balearic player is not comfortable in Portland and would like to return, and Real would welcome him with open arms. The information, which is signed José Luis Martínez, Nacho Duque, states that the environment of the player has already made known its willingness to return and that Florentino Perez is in the operation and welcomed. Rudy has lost prominence in Portland and earn much less money than it could charge in Europe. Real Madrid sees it that Cristiano Ronaldo would be the basketball section.
Interesting...But RUDY has been playing like crap lately.

The Blake trade should have re-energized both Bayless and Rudy. With Roy hurt and Miller often playing short minutes, there has been and continues to be plenty of opportunities for those 2 to prove themselves.

The blunt truth is, Rudy doesn't look like a guy who is out to "carpe diem." Either the back injury is a chronic condition that has derailed his potential - or he is healthy and just isn't putting out the effort.

I am still willing to cut Bayless some slack, since he appears to be playing *hard*, if not always effectively.

What a great game by Rudy and a nice game by Bayless... Weird...

Hmm--MIXUM may have been right here too (if Quick can be believed). JQ just reported on 95.5 that "the book on Marcus Camby is that he will not play with pain." The way it was conveyed, if his ankle doesn't feel perfect--if there's even a little twinge--he sits himself down. Perhaps this helps explain, (A) all the games he's missed over his career, and (B) why he's still so effective (when on the court) at his current ripe-old age. :dunno:
