You guys are incorrigible.

Bora Bora......the huts are actually a Four Season Hotel. Dreamed of going there with the wife for years!

I will get to see this place next month

Edinburgh

You will love that place! Went there a couple summers ago and it is amazing. All of Scotland is! Have you been before?

Never been. Going for a conference and staying a couple extra days. An old friend also lives there so ill have a blast.

Easter Island fascinates me! Those statues and the stories behind them are amazing.

I've read about it, looks amazing, but with my limited time I am going to stay fairly local to Edinburgh. I also have a friend in Glasgow, so if I do travel it will be there.

But if I love it as I think I will, I'll plan a longer trip in the future. Perhaps a bike trip through Scotland.

Same here. Would love to make it there sometime to see them in person.

We were debating bora bora or Paris. Paris won out because we can place our lock with our names engraved on the bridges crossing the river.

This be mine......

My father worked with someone that honeymooned there... said they got claustrophobic with the small huts, all the people right on top of eachother, etc. Said it's better on a postcard than in real life.

Still looks awesome to me though...

Personally, I'd love to see the northern lights. I hate the cold, so I don't know how I'd swing that one realistically, but that's a definite bucket list item for me.

I also want to be apart of the running of the bulls in Pamplona. I love adrenaline rushes but hate heights, so that'd be my version of skydiving/bungee jumping. I mean hell, you don't really have to outrun the bulls, just have to outrun the slowest dude on the street, right? I'm sure the whole event is just one giant party as well.

Check out the ones in the Maldives. We were looking at that for the second honeymoon, but Mrs. FromWA doesn't do well on long flights, and it would be about 31 hours of travel to get there at a minimum. But it looked fantastic.

One of the few times I've seen them is near Saratoga Springs, NY during the summertime (right before horseracing season). It doesn't have to be "arctic" to see them.
