Things that tick me off

I've definitely gotten less tolerant as I've gotten older. Here's an example of something that annoyed me just today.

Twice a week, I take my five-year-old daughter to swim class (I'm a guy, BTW--this is important). The rec center has a boys' changing room, a girls' changing room, and one "family" changing room" that is designed for a single family. My daughter is old enough now that we need to use the family changing room.

So after the last two lessons we've had to wait, and wait, and wait for a group of three little girls and their two moms to finish using the family changing room first. WHY THE HELL CAN'T THEY USE THE GIRLS' CHANGING ROOM?! Today, one of the fathers was with them also, pushing a stroller--and he LEFT the changing room a full five minutes before the two women and the three girls did. Again, USE THE @#$%ING GIRLS' CHANGING ROOM! We had to wait for ten @#$%ING MINUTES for them to shower and get dressed. And today they even saw me--their girls ran ahead of us so they could get to the family changing room first after swim class was over. THE FAMILY CHANGING ROOM IS MEANT FOR FATHERS/DAUGHTERS AND MOTHERS/SONS--NOT SINGLE SEX FAMILIES WHO HAPPEN TO BE LARGE FAMILIES!

I just want to scream. People just totally piss me off.

This makes me think about the retarded people who go jarring on their cell phones, driving like shit. But then, you beep at them, and THEY have the nerve to get pissed at YOU. Sheesh.

To get into specifics, one time, I was driving up behind this dude. And we approach a light...and it's a green light, and he's stopped. So I try to look in his car, and whaddaya know!!! He's on his cell phone!! So I layed the horn for like 15 seconds. And he flipped me off....and I got so pissed at that dude I wanted to smack him in his bald head.

People are dumb. You should purposely try to beat her to the changing room, and take your time. And I don't just mean 5 minutes longer than the average person. I'm talkin half an hour. Bring a book, have your daughter bring an mp3 player/portable game system, and just chill out. Just to piss that lady off.

I don't know, I try to not piss off stupid people too much because there's always the chance they'll go psycho or want to slash your tires.

Just talk to the management there about the situation and draw more attention to the delinquents.

So this had me thinking of not necessarily something that pisses me off, more of someone who pisses me off.

So, I work for a company called PRC, it's basically a 3rd part vendor for a variety of telesales (Vonage, Citibank, etc.). I work on the Citibank Credit Protector program on the night squad. I'm actually one of the people that have been on it in the longest, as my tenure now is about 9 months there. Recently, there has been this one girl, a new hire, on there that has just pissed me off beyond belief.

So, firstly, we're an inbound program, so people are calling us, and recently, we've been horribly understaffed so we've been super busy and have had pretty much no wait times between calls. So, the other night when we finally get out of queue (constant calls) it was all going fine. However, I proceeded to look over and see that this dumb broad was still sitting in after call work for the last couple minutes, even though we have wait times. While this might not seem like a big deal, it kind of is. Basically, the more people waiting, the longer our wait times are going to be, and when you've had none, you want them to be as long as possible.

So, I saw this and told her to disposition her call, and she refused to, claiming that I'm not her boss, which is true, I'm not. However, there was no sense in sitting in after call work when we're not getting any freaking calls. She then proceeded to go on a break. Now, since we finally had some damn good wait times, we figured hey, lets just take her phone off pause to help with keeping wait times longer. She then proceeded to make a big ass deal out of this and started whining aimlessly. I mean, for the love of god, we were closing in on like, 10 or 12 minute wait times, there's no point in pausing your phone at that point.

Now here's the best part. As the night was closing to an end for me, I didn't really feel like taking any calls. So, I flash paused my phone, pushing me back to the end of the line for a call. When I did this, she totally freaked out about it. She then got up and put her phone on pause and left, probably to complain to the supervisor.

Now, when she got back, I continued to do this, cause dammit, I didn't want a call. And this is what pissed me off the most. After making a big deal out everyone else doing it and whining about it, SHE FREAKING DID IT! That pissed me off. At this point, I wanted to put her face through a computer monitor. Thankfully, I never did end up getting a call cause we got super freaking dead. But man, did that girl piss me off by any stretch of the imagination. I was already having a bad night due to the fact that the job sucks, and then this girl proceeds to be a huge hypocritical and disrespectful bitch to me. It was a very good thing that 10:00 came so I could get out of there before punching her in the throat.

I am not used to dealing on a personal level with stupid people, but my job requires it.

I always have to remind myself to be cautious and try very hard to steer clear of this kind of person, but I am often oblivious until it is too late.

ha, you've never spent a half hour with my daughter! Swim class ends right around her bedtime--I put her in her pajamas in the changing room--so the longer it takes, the later she gets to bed.

As a telemarketer, I constantly have to deal with stupid people. It's funny, we look people's account info up by their credit card number, and if they don't have that we do a name search and have them verify the last four digits of the CC#. However, it's amazing as to how many people WILLINGLY offer their social security number to look them up when they can't find their card. I mean, I'd NEVER do that. I don't trust people enough to give them my SSN over the phone, no way in hell.

The other amazing thing is how few people look over their statements. I work in Credit Protector Retention, so basically we're trying to prevent people who call in from canceling their program. The funny thing here is that, some people who call will have had this thing for years but didn't know it because they don't look at their statement. They look at the amount due and send it in. That's it. So, they get these massive chunks of money removed from their credit card constantly because they are lazy and don't look at their purchases. If they did, they'd see that right at the freaking top of it. I just don't get how people are so lazy and stupid. Personally, any bill I get, I look over thoroughly, just to see how it got to that point and make sure I'm not getting screwed.

things that piss me off:

when im really fuckin horny but my girlfriend wants to sleep, agh, its so annoying, i can never sleep.

when me and my girlfriend are just finished in the bedroom, i go to the bathroom and her younger brother waits for me so he can spit on me and punch me, that actually just happened last night so my girlfriend has now moved in with me for a while, and im only 18! god damn little shit.

oh here in melbourne there are alot of young ditzy girls, and they travel in big gross packs of other sticky slutty skanks, anyway they take up the whole footpath and i cant get past them! now i dont want to get too close otherwise i will contract a desiese or choke from the amount of cheap perfum they're wearing, god damn they are so annoying.

i work in a video store, and mostly im doing returns (stacking the shelves witht the returned dvd's) now sometimes people have several dvds and they put them into the return shoot in a big plastic bag, it seems pretty small but it just makes things so much fuckin harder and slower, so annoying.

lamar odom has pissed me off alot too.

really fat dirty people in the swimming pool that i go to! agh, that is unhygenic to let someone like that in a pool with other people. sounds mean but im talking fat fat fat guys who look like they can only wash when the go to a swimming pool, gross.

It's ok, people cuss at me all the time on the phone. They act like it's my fault that they're retarded. I can't even enroll people, but that doesn't matter to them, it's still my fault that they're retarded.
