Hypocritical, dude. Attack the post not the poster? If that's the case you are now in bliss.
Yes, I should address the post and not the poster. I got drawn into it by his repeated attacks on me, but it was an error on my part. Now, are you attacking me?Hypocritical, dude. Attack the post not the poster?
I only meant that your post was hypocritical, not you as a person. Only thing I'm going to apologize for is that I'm not going to apologize. Calling it as I see it.Yes, I should address the post and not the poster. I got drawn into it by his repeated attacks on me, but it was an error on my part. Now, are you attacking me?
Please find fault with my post without labeling me. It will make it easy to not attack you for saying something so abrasive.
As I have apologized, so should you.
I feel bad for the way I come off, Im not calling you a racist. Im simply saying that those type of generalizations and stereotyping is dangerous and is at least in my opinion part of what is at the core of racism, prejudice and intolerance without understanding.Fuck.
I watched the video. VideoS actually.
I’ve read about the school.
I’ve got experience with 1) rich 2) white 3) hard core conservative people 4) kids who act like this. Lived it. Lived IN it. I am not just walking by a group and saying oh yeah I know exactly what that group is all about. I would bet everything I have that I know what this group - in general - is all about. I also know what they are NOT about. Could I be all wrong? Sure. I highly doubt it. You don’t agree? Also fine.
Is it? Not sure why.
This is literally racism... You know what kind of kids they are because they’re white, catholic students who are wearing trump attire. Its like seeing a bunch of black kids dressed a certain way and saying you know exactly what kind of kids they are. You dont know ANY of them, you are using your experiences to justify stereotyping a large group. You could be right be right, but judging a large group of any one based on the superficial is basically the core of racism.
Its MLK Day man.
Heres some MLK Qoutes ~.
"A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus."
This is why I would never vote for Trump.
"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."
"People fail to get along because they fear each other; they fear each other because they don't know each other; they don't know each other because they have not communicated with each other.”
This is where Id say this country has really broken down, we dont want to do the most important part of communication. Listen.
These kids were just as guilty of this as anyone. When someone had a different view then them they wanted to drown them out with their stupid school song.
Aint ever going to live up to MLK Jr if we dont listen and try to understand each other.
Trump's budget is at most advisory. Congress is what actually allocates money.
Know what wasn't in Trump's budget? Funding for the wall.
barfo
So you watched the video and it was enough evidence for you to make speculations on what type of people a bunch of teenagers MIGHT be?? Your argument has certainly degraded in the last ten pages or so. Beginning of the thread was “white kids attack indigenous peoples while screaming ‘build a wall!’”Fuck.

Now you just think they might be assholes based on their richness, whiteness and conservatism.
You’re just making shit up at this point. The sinister narrative you initially tried to support proved to be bullshit now you’re grabbing for straws.
In fairness, so are you.So they are assholes to everyone. Great kids they are raising in Kentucky and such great Christian values.
Ahh hahahahahahahahahahahaha. In fairness, so are you.
From Kentucky by chance?
Man... i used to think your posts were so levelheaded and full of common sense.
Where did that person go????
Read below please....
You may Think you know those people because they are white and rich???
If i were to say i know those people because they are black and poor what would that make me.....????
Your inability to admit your mistake is the same mistake both parties are making and will become the downfall of our country.
Man up and admit you jumped to a preconceived judgement. Its not that hard and no one will think less of you.
But i certainly think less of those who just cant admit when they are wrong about something.
I mean for fucks sake......
Great post. More should read and listen.
Wrong about what? Mistake? All of this is a judgment call. You are saying they didn't do anything wrong. That is fine. I am saying everything I know tells me they are not innocent in this. I watched the videos. I can see with my two eyes and listen with my two ears what is going on. What is so difficult about this? I never wrote these kids should go to jail, be expelled, or anything. Nothing. I said simply that I am not buying the 'oh poor kids got mislabeled and they didn't do anything wrong'. Why? Because in my life I have been around people who have many of the same characteristics - checking all the same boxes - and it forms my opinion. Before the video I of course thought the worst. Then I watched the video and thought, 'hm. the black dudes made things bad. The native American made things bad/why did he approach? But I STILL felt the kids (because I relate to them from my 40 years on this planet) are also to blame' - why, because they had the gear on, yes, which we all know (lets be REAL) creates an emotion in people that isn't positive and has a track record of less-than-tolerant behavior, were chanting and (IN MY OPINION) mocking the Native Americans songs/chants. Is the mistake that I am not giving the kids a pass?
Because you sidestepped the bigger picture and issue going on.
First, i never said the kids were innocent.
Second, the issue is the blatant twisting and missrepresentations of the facts by the media outlets.
What IS obvious to me after watching all of the videos, is that the left media clearly and matter of factly cherry picked a full video to completely missrepresent the events at hand simply to cater to thier own agenda.
If the full video doesnt change the viewpoints, then why did they not just post it all to begin with?
This is going on on both sides and its the primary driving force of increasing frustration and lack of tolerance and compromise from either side.
But instead of admitting the wrong doings of the left media, you proceed to judge the kids based on your own predetermined opinion, based on your personal experience with rich white kids.
Ive come to expect this type of response from some around here because it would be thier norm. But not you.
Ive seen enough of your posts to know you are better than this. With that said, ive been wrong more than once around here, so....Ill just say that and leave it at that.
Listen to how dumb this sounds. All your judgement is coming from a hat being worn. If they didn’t wear the hat, you wouldn’t be saying shit. You back pedaled this whole thread. Hey whatever, go judge more kids with maga hats on that’s cool. I hope you judge those with Hillary endorsing clothes on the same way then. How ridiculous. Who gives a fuck who supports who, it’s about what story the video actually tells. However you couldn’t back pedal out completely because you have to stick to this narrative in some form so now it’s “yeah I know their character based off of what they were wearing”. Yeah nice one.Wrong about what? Mistake? All of this is a judgment call. You are saying they didn't do anything wrong. That is fine. I am saying everything I know tells me they are not innocent in this. I watched the videos. I can see with my two eyes and listen with my two ears what is going on. What is so difficult about this? Gee this is so surprising that this same school did this:
So they are assholes to everyone. Great kids they are raising in Kentucky and such great Christian values.
I hear what you are saying. But I wasn't going on and on about the actual video, how it was edited or spliced etc. Clearly it was made to give off a certain look. It backfired. What my posts (if you go back and read them) were about is mainly, "I don't really care about the video/editing, I still think the kids are punks". I never even bothered to think of "admitting the wrongdoings of the left media". The media is a joke. I was concerned with the actual issue - this event. And initially everyone blasted the kids, then everyone went the other direction and took accountability off of them. That's where I was in disagreement. I don't think the kids are angels.
You clearly stand a better chance on a horse. Not calling anyone specific out by quoting, (not even the same person responding)but this is a microcosm of this thread and our situation from both sides.
Accused racist biggots...
Racist biggot accusation refuted....
Typical sidestep from the bigger issue. Media misrepresentation warping the minds of the ignorant. And most of us are ignorant on most of these things, because we dont have first hand evidence to develop a basis of truth!!!!
Man. Its like butch cassidy and sundance arguing over whether its better to go off a cliff on a horse or a wagon. It dont fucking matter. Its the fall thats gonna kill ya!!!!!
You clearly stand a better chance on a horse.
all of this would require leaving his mom's basement....and there's that pesky ankle bracelet issueComrade barfo,
