This graphic alone explains why Splitter has to go

I'm curious what all goes in to that stat. Is it the ensuing possession after every single time out? Or is it(somehow) only calculating situations that call for a coach drawing up a play to score?

Your team goes on an 8-0 run. I call timeout to stop that run and quiet the momentum. We inbounds the ball under the opponents basket and bring the ball up like normal, and very likely run our set offense. We score or fail to score out of our set offense.

It's a 1 point game with 8 seconds left. We call timeout and draw up a last second shot to try for the win. We score or we fail on the attempt.

These two situations are very different, and presumably both fall under the ATO stat

noun: causality

  1. the relationship between cause and effect.

  2. the principle that everything has a cause.

Every pin can find a cushion to stick into. Just seek a cause and effect.

To be the worst , and not even close; not a good look. However, teams with pretty good coaches like Pacers, Heat and Warriors are pretty bad, so.....

I mean, ours is just bad coach AND bad players. We arent a good team so this is to be expected.

Shit, Doug Cristie looks like the second coming of John Wooden FAMS!

If the stat is showing what team is the best against a set NBA defense - yeah makes sense Jokic is the best and Blazers are the worst.

Does this prove Splitter is a bad coach?

Or does it show how amazing it is the Blazers are on the verge of a winning season with the shit half court talent and shooting this group has.
