I want to give a HUGE S/O to@masonplumlee for coming to speak at the camp that I direct today....I walk into the Bagel Factory this morning to pick up my sandwich and I see a familiar face sitting in the corner and noticed it was him. I walk up to him, introduce myself and congratulate him on his success so far in the NBA. I tell him that I direct a basketball camp called Sky High held at Conestoga High School about a mile away from where we were. I told him that we try and get a speaker to come to camp every year to talk to the kids but have been unable to book one so far. I ask him that if he has time in his day to come speak, it would mean a lot to the kids. He told me he was headed to a yoga class but he may be able to do it. I wrote the address of Conestoga High School on a piece of paper and gave it to him. I didn't put my contact information on it at all. I just said if you can make it that would be great and if not thank you for the consideration anyway and good luck with everything. Half way through the day, as I was trying to explain the next activity to the camp, in walks Mason! Absolutely made the kids day. He spoke for 20 min about the importance of academics as well as hard work to achieve anything in life. He also took about 15 questions....Days like this is why I love doing everything I do. For those kids, it's an experience they will never forget! It says a lot about Mason that he would take time out of his day to come do something like that out of the kindness of his heart. Sky High Basketball as well as myself appreciates you. MUCH RESPECT!

I dont think any of us want to trade him. The financials just dont pencil out, especially after next season when he gets a 15 million/yrish offer. Plums has some value around the league, so i feel pretty confident we would get a nice asset in return.

Ed davis is almost untradeable with his contract. Meyers has good value for those that believe in him. I have faith ezeli works out and hes on a great contract. Aminu will get minutes at the 4. Vonleh needs time to develop.

I like plumlee the most out of all the players mentioned, and ill be ecstatic if paul allen says fuck it and spends his money freely again. But im skeptical thats the case.

I agree with all of this except the part where you say that Ed Davis' contract makes him almost untradeable. WTF? I don't see that, at all! Not that I am saying I want to trade him....

His value is tremendous for what we pay him.

Only way i would deal him is if it was in a consolidation deal where we got a major starting lineup upgrade

Unfortunately it's going to get mighty expensive to have him as a backup next summer.

So is it in Philly or Portland? lol

Edit - the guy who posted it is in Philly.

I hear Plumlee is big time into Manga. Talk about identifying with your fan base! Maybe he can host a special Hayao Miyazaki festival at the Bagdad Theater.

If those kids paid for the camp, the guy running it should pay Plumlee. If the guy didn't, Plumlee's agent had better watch out that Plumlee doesn't get a sucker reputation for working for free, or else well-funded events will exploit him.

What a nice culture and a nice group of guys we have! Having those 2 key points has got to amount to a championship!!

I feel like Plums is the name I see floated in trades most often. It's close between him and Aminu.

Stotts has stated how he's going to start Aminu at the 4 many times this summer...listen to the Ezeli introduction interview. He's part of the plan for the team going into the season..I don't think he'll be traded at all..they need his contract on the books to offset expensive guys we just paid. All our bigs are on really great deals right now. I think if any are moved it will be a trade deadline deal like we did with Will Barton. We'll know a lot more after the team has played 20 games or so...cream rises to the top

I meant when the hypothetical trade threads pop up everyone is packaging plums and Aminu.

Myers right now has no value if he did other teams would have gone after him.

I didnt mean in a trade. Meyers is signed to a good contract going forward for a big with the skills he has, and he still has potential.

Which untapped potentials do you expect to see converted into game play this season?

Antithesis of Jail Blazer

A short-haired white farmboy. I am Plumlee's biggest supporter, but I don't have to like his looks. But in about a third of our games last season, I kept saying that he was our best player in that game.
