Wally Walker

1977 NBA Champion

“Wally Who?” was drafted by Portland, 5th overall. He was traded to Seattle and won another ring with the Sonics in 1979!

He wasn’t great…but certainly a good luck charm!

I remember him as the architect behind the Kemp/Payton Sonic’s teams. Then I remember him in the spotlight a lot before the Sonics ended up moving.

Robert Pack. Then maybe... Aleksandar Djordjevic. He only played in like eight games as a Blazer after winning the best European basketball player the two previous years. He was 29 at the time and didn't want to ride the pine so he peaced out. He is the only person that has won medals at the Summer Olympic Games, the FIBA World Cup, and the FIBA EuroBasket as both a player and as a head coach.
