okay, our basketball team was supposed to be starting after school practices tomorrow, but the volley ball team and the girls basketball team are overflowing their practices after school (both of those classes are at the end of the day). So you'd think we'd just get home a little later, right? wrong. our stupid coach decides to have practice BEFORE school. at 6:45. F*ck ME!!! :Swoon:

Haha, you guys think that sucks? Okay, my first 3 years of HS, we had the same head coach. My senior year our coach retires and we get this new coach. He has us come like 3 days out of the week for morning practices. If it wasnt before a game, we could come in like at 6:00. If it was a game day, we'd come in like 7:00. I'm telling you it would suck ass so bad. Then we would also have afternoon practices.

Ok, I'm not a swimmer, but my friend was - he had to come in EVERY day into swim practice at 5:30 am. In the Winter!! As if that wasn't bad enough, when you're a freshman joining the varsity swim team they do so much crap to you...one is throw you out in the foot snow just after you've gone swimming. Also, after swimming, they have a class calledAdvanced Conditioning that they take - there they weight lift for 1 1/2 hours. Now that sucks - so stop complaining haha.

Okay, this doesn't pertain to high school sports practices, but, our Varsity football team on Saturday is playing a team called Sillegion. Our Varsity team is 2-4 in about an average league as far as high school football goes. The team they're playing has a RB named Javed Best. You might have heard of him, he's ranked #1 for running backs in California. He averages over 350 yards a game. He runs a 4.3 40. Reggie Bush runs a 4.32. He's guaranteed to USC and will probably be a 1st round draft pick. Sillegion played a school that beat our school, he scored 8 touchdowns. Yeah.

And we have a studly Sophmore MLB, Jonathan Tinsley..Has 98 tackles in 8 games..He's 5'10, 210. He's a monster, he runs a 4.45.So ya.

Wow man, 6:45 am is very early to be doing that type of conditioning (I'm assuming you do some). But, at the same time, Clangus has a great point: this gives you more of an oppertunity to work on your game, you will get more practice in daily. That's good. As much as you might not like getting up and doing it, this will benefit you.

But what time do you start school and how long are these morning practices?

We start school at around 8:30, so our coach is trying to push it as late as possible. but really, this wouldn't be a big deal if I was a morning person. but I am REALLY not a morning person.
