Can't watch video. What slur did he "say"
 
That mayor sounds like a piece of work.

He might have a case for wrongful termination, given how impossible it would be for anyone to prove intent from some unclear jumbled words as the guy tried to form his sentence.
 
Heck, I can't understand what he said. The whole thing sounds like he needed to begin again with his gear in order.

You've almost got it, really it's only a little more complicated than that.

The racist stuff is racist, and the non-racist stuff isn't racist. And there's some stuff in the middle that might or might not be.

It is more complicate actually because things that aren’t actually racist these days are determined racist by the outrage crowd. This video isn’t racist and being accidentally racist doesn’t exist. Stop the nonsense

Yes fumbling words when speaking is clearly in that grey area where it sure sounds like someone must be racist.

Oh and the might or might not be stuff needs to have been stopped right in the middle of the broadcast and an apology given...and hopefully the guy dragged out of the building by security.
