After our two worst shooting performances (and consequently, and not surprisingly, our two lowest scoring nights) we now have to wait until Saturday to see if the rest was really a factor, or if there's something internally wrong with the team. I think Batum needs to just shut it down for a little bit. He's not being helpful at all out there. (1 three since the 21st.) Lillard has looked apathetic and listless, and I think that's carrying to the rest of the team.

The next 2-3 games are really going to tell us where this team is. Luckily, we have a cushion with which to fall back on... because this needs to turn around quick, or the morale is going to be shot and we are going to see a lot more games just like this.

I don't know but to quote an old cliche'....you live or die by the 3 pt shot...and maybe we're trying to make Barkley a genius? Is it remotely possible that we're jockeying for position in the playoff picture so we'll have a more favorable matchup? (yeah, I know it's a stretch, but chalk it up to two back to back disappointments ok?)

It's much too late to tank. That ship has sailed.

On the bright side, LA's trade value is at it's absolute peak. I bet we could get a lottery pick :devilwink:

Not tank but avoid Phoenix in the first round, at any cost. As it stands we face Golden State in the first round if they started tomorrow

9 games in 14 nights. Let that sink in. That's why the offense was so putrid the past two games. We'll be fine. Although, Mo Williams needs to look to distribute a little more. Getting real tired on his shot selection.

He had as many assists as Lillard did tonight. :dunno:

I think the team is both mentally and physically tired, and 3 days at home between games is a welcome rest for both the team and the fans.

I know it will be. But the waiting and hoping and (hoping not) the possibility that this could be could fuel negativity. I just wanted to beat them to it. :)

That Tank Gif, is genius. hahaha.

I think we'll be alright. We have too many shooters to make the last two games a regular occurrence. Hopefully the 3 days off and then the All Star break will get Nic going again. He needs to rest his finger and ankle.

It can be the norm. People have very short memories as to how the team ended last season on a huge thud. The team needs to adjust their game plan from just shooting 3s and posting up LA. Unfortunately I don't think Stotts has the right mix of starters to do much else.

Looks like there a lot to discuss on the Podcast. There is the instant reaction of the last couple of games, bigger trends, and then the season as a whole. Should be an interesting dialogue.

I haven't heard anything from South East in a while... sent him a PM. :dunno: But yes, I agree.

I was as pessimistic as anyone beginning this season. However, this team has turned me into a believer. So, we've had a couple of lousy games. Big deal. It's a long season. I am convinced we'll be just fine. This break will be great for us.

Problem is, he thinks he's Chris Paul but he's not even Raymond Felton when it comes to making good passes.

That's the spirit!!

We tanked those last 13 games on purpose to get our Lotto Pick. Everybody knows that.

i think lillard will have a big game on the road because he always have a big game when we are on the road, expect the blazers to breakout with lillard leading the way
:cheers: :ghoti::lol::clap:
