A Chicago woman, KATU reports, claims a Salem police officer and a Marion County sheriff's deputy cyberbullied her after she posted on Facebook that she planned to attend a Washington, D.C., women's march to protest the election of Donald Trump, who has faced multiple allegations of sexual predation.

"I definitely felt like I was being targeted or something," Liz McArthur told the local news channel.

"I don't know this man. We are not friends on Facebook. I live in Chicago," she wrote of the initial trolling by Marion County Sgt. James Coleman, in a letter she says she sent to the Marion County Sheriff's Office and the Salem Police Department. She added: "He came at ME. As I said, we are not friends on Facebook. He went WAY out of his way to come after me and at one point he even started tagging his friends in empty comments for ... backup? No idea. But then I had his Facebook mob after me. Which I understand isn't a real mob, but it was unwanted, unprovoked and disturbing."

I know someone that this happened to. He is kind of a conservative loud mouth. Anyway he said something that some LGBT lady didnt like, I think it had to do with the sweet cakes issues, and she contacted his employer and tried to get him fired. He said his boss is as big of a loud mouth as he is so they had a good laugh over it, but lesson learned put your shit on private. Knowing the guy but not knowing what he said, he was probably being douchey but that's it.

Facebook is for looking up old girlfriends but not even then would I send them anything. That is the limit of what I have ever done with it.

Maybe if I lived in the south I would see all those things, but I don't really have any of those people on my facebook friends list. It's mostly Democrats.

When you have some people that you added years and years ago get into it with some other people that you added years and years ago in a post that you made that was completely innocuous. I made a post bitching about how the protests were fucking up my commute, and apparently that gave the green light for people from both sides to start doing battle in the comments. I didn't say anything in my post about Hillary or Trump, just that I wish the protests weren't messing with my commute.
