FWIW, Stotts may be on the bubble.
I really like him as coach, but the reality is that the GM and owner invested in the team with the expectations of a better record than last season.
Instead, the team effectively underperformed and isn't really showing the spirit or preparedness in the playoffs.
We're getting dominated by the Warriors who lost players to gain cap space for Durant and aren't playing Durant.
Playing Nurk on a broken leg speaks worlds about Nurk, but also is a move of desperation.
Maybe we give Stotts a chance with Nurk for the whole season. Maybe Stotts is our Pops, and will coach for decades.
Or maybe something has to change: either players or the coach. Often it's the coach.
I'm not advocating that Stotts be fired. It's just one way management might be thinking.
Pretty stupid post. The team would be 100 times better for fans if Paul Allen didn't own it. The MONEY is his only good quality. You owning the team would make my life amazing. I would save something like 300 hours a year not watching, caring about, or following your team.

Ummmmmm, Bill Schonley? Remember him?
Like a lot of folks, they grow as they mature. Sounds like JaVale's a pretty cool guy.Warriors' JaVale McGee on Blazers' Jusuf Nurkic returning tonight:

I like JaVale, and while I liked when he was on Shaqtin with Shaq making fun of him, I see that was not cool, cause Shaq really exaggerated and it become disgusting..
No, I'm saying he should have called the games for as long as he wanted to. If I were the owner he would have. Are you saying a Bill Schonley should own the team?
Because why?You owning the team would make my life amazing. I would save something like 300 hours a year not watching, caring about, or following your team.
Not his fault he has a fucked rosterFWIW, Stotts may be on the bubble.

Fucking idiots.
Fuck the team
Fuck the doctors
Fuck the fans trusting the team and doctors
Fuck me not having enough money to own the team, so I could start having input on what goes on there.
Nice to have a dr in the forumHaving pain in his leg isn't indicative of anything. He's not at risk of re-injuring it. It takes awhile for pain and swelling to go away. I've had a lot of broken bones from sports and it's always a few weeks after healing that the pain is gone. No big deal.
He really had the turd sandwich last season and over performed.
Same players, add ET.
The regression of several players looks to me to be the real issue. Ed Davis regressed, so did Aminu.
I don't think NO is going to use the unbalanced roster rationale. My assumption is that Stotts was involved in personnel decisions.

See Blazers historyI think, if I've read right, that doctors did in fact say he can't re-injure it.
They wouldn't say it'd be his decision if he could. That would be grounds for them getting fired. I dont think they are that dumb.
See Blazers history
Or Bowie, or WaltonDo we even have the same doctors that we had with Fragile Oden?
What would your solution to this curse be, as owner?Or Bowie, or Walton
Different dr. Same fuck me
Or Bowie, or Walton

Nope. Can't trust those doctors because different doctors years ago made a couple mistakes. MM knows best.I think, if I've read right, that doctors did in fact say he can't re-injure it.

Why? He has no chance at reinjuring it if he's playing, so what's the problem?Just a fucking stupid decision by the organization to let him play. I guess I shouldn't expect anything else though.

No further damage was done to Nurk's leg. And this comes from Stotts.
But the Blazer medical staff.....You gotta be kidding me. He absolutely could make it worse.
If there is no chance of reinjury, or injury to something else because of his leg, why wouldn't it be wise?
