...seems to be on its last leg.

I was hoping to post almost with every game.
I had a horrible 4WD truck accident 2 months ago. It left me in a wheelchair, yesterday morning I had three lumbar discectomies and fusions.
September of 2022 I had surgery for 3 Cervical discectomy/fusions.

It's been all I could do to even think straight this summer, over the last couple months. My apologies for not being here. You know what really blows, as I feel and probably sound like Rick Eberle, "Rick2583." I don't doubt that he had back spine issues. A crazy thing was ever so often he would mention how many surgeries he had, and every time the number would be different sometimes more sometimes less.

Anyway, I really don't know what next year holds. Until yesterday I felt like a damn alligator clamped on to both my legs, thighs and calfs.

We lost Rick when he found a girl and became pussy whipped.
Then Lily passed away, and Michael our most elderly statesman disappeared. I don't know what happened to him and I fear the worst.

Sorry to hear about your medical issues Mattingly and I hope your on the road to recovery. I know your pain as I've had 22 surgeries and outside of my hips and liver every other body part has been operated on. only advice I can give you is take one day at a time. were getting up there in age and shit happens. I'll be 70 in December!! I haven't been posting as the board has been empty but I'll start again if you guys start posting again. I haven't seen mess on here in a while but I see him on the giants message board so I know he's alive and kicking

I didn't realize Vic hasn't been here lately.
Holy cow and I thought I was ancient, you're the senior old man. Isn't your birthstone?
I am stuck in here (hospital) until Saturday, and I will be ready, cuz I am not going to a freaking convalescent, no fkng way.
This was surgery number 14 in the last 33 years. I turn 69 in a week and a half.
Until yesterday my last two prior surgeries or September and January of 2022. Both were discectomy fusions to me fusions, 3 on Lumbar and 3 on the cervical spine. I picked up my wife's 15 gallon flower pot full of dirt and flour. But I did I felt and heard a pop, surgeon said it was either this severe herniation blown out, but he said it could have been one of the screws and rods on one of those two prior surgeries.
This should be recovering and hopefully alert by the end of the season. I do plan on coming here, by the first postseason game. And I plan

Halloween in 2017 I had renal cell carcinoma. I lost half of a kidney, and I have been cancer free since that surgery (using the DaVinci robotics, what an amazing machine and robot).

Come to realize one should never lose their sense of humor and laughter, it's good for the soul. For instance, being a Halloween Day surgery, the 'OR' nurse was dressed like an angel, and I said to her: "it's a surgeon comes in here just like the grim reaper or Satan I'm getting off this table and running stark ass naked out of here"!! Fortunately he was simply dressed like a surgeon.

I’ll definitely try to be around more. Honestly, been pretty frustrated with this group. Get excited over a win and then the usual flop the next game. The silver lining is that everyone in the American League has struggled this season. It’s very strange.
