As I have been saying, it is more about his efficiency. Not just the 10 pts, but he shot 10%.

Let me ask you all a question, can you win a title, with Dame as your best player????
(This is my point, I say you cannot......Hypothetically, if we get Kawhi, Bron, AD, KD, Giannis, etc....he aint the best player. If we have a CJ caliber player, it aint enough)

Dwight Howard, Bron, Kidd, Butler among others took crappy teams to the finals

Portland are far from a crappy team without Dame, we are above .500 this season if memory serves.

Dame aint that guy, we got 9 seasons of tape.....Now, if he takes us to the finals this year (Which is possible given how banged up everyone is), I will give him props. However, I don't think you win titles with Dame as your guy. There is zero proof to say otherwise. His high volume style of play, isn't suited for championship ball. Like Westbrook, great player, but his game never translated to winning anything.

It's hard to say that when the east was the JV squad for a decade plus... and we had kobe and Steph or whatever juggernaut was in the west for dames years.

We needed a 2nd star to compete in the west.

You needed booby Gibson as your 2nd star to win in the east lol.
